Kaisercraft Frosted Last Minute Gift Tags
Hello, my Friends! The Christmas Countdown clock is ticking loud and clear! I keep finding “one more thing” on my to-do list. Yesterday, I found I needed to make some quick gift tags to tie on to some Christmas packages that my dear husband is delivering to business associates today. These Kaisercraft Frosted Last Minute Gift Tags were a snap to make, but oh so shabby chic and pretty.
Use Your Scraps!
I had scraps of Kaisercraft Frosted on my work table left over from the Christmas Pop Up Gift Card holder that I shared yesterday. I also had scraps of cardstock that I had used for matting images. Why not make some little gift tags? So I turned on my audio book and went to work.
First, I created the tag bases from cardstock. As you can see, each tag is a different size and shape. I did use one Graphic 45 Ivory Staples tag that was in a work basket on my desk. But the other two tags are made with gray cardstock.
Merry and Bright Kaisercraft Frosted Last Minute Gift Tags #1
For this 4.25″ x 4.75″ square tag, I started out with a scrap of gray matting cardstock. I used my 1/2″ Corner Chomper to round the bottom corners. Then I used my Scallop Corner chomper on the top to create a decorative edge.
Next, I trimmed up a scrap of the cable knit sweater paper from Frosted and repeated the corner chomping routine. Then I just quickly added the darling vintage image and some sticker elements from the collection. The finishing touch is an Off White Shimmer Satin Bow, a glittery silver jingle bell, silver metallic string and some white WOC flowers. A snippet of Silver Metallic Grosgrain Ribbon dresses up my Tim Holtz paper clip embellie. Tag one, done!

This tall and skinny tag followed the same procedure, only with a 3″ x 6″ scrap of gray cardstock.
I also die cut a small label from a scrap of the pretty blue patterned paper, cut it in half, and tucked it behind my focal image to add a pop of color. Tags are one of the best ways I know of to use up scraps!
Jingle Bells: Kaisercraft Frosted Last Minute Gift Tags #3
Since I had used up all my gray cardstock scraps, I grabbed a Graphic 45 Staples Ivory Square tag as the base for this 3rd tag.
Here’s a helpful tip: Leave the ends of your silver metallic string long enough to tie through the handles of your gift bag.
Also, add a snippet of ribbon to a paper clip to make a festive embellishment. I also used up some leftover die cut snowflakes on this tag.
Super quick, super easy and I used up my scraps!
Now I need to hit the kitchen and get some Christmas baking done! Wishing you a joy-filled and productive day!
