Amazing Paper Grace  Half Diamond Layered Fleur Pink Tulips Slimline Card

Hello, Friends!   I’m popping in very quickly today to share this Amazing Paper Grace Half Diamond Layered Fleur Pink Tulips Slimline Card.  This flirty, feminine card fairly shouts “Spring has Sprung!”

Amazing Paper Grace Half Diamond Layered Fleur Layered Tulips Slimline Card by Kathy Clement

You all know I’m a big fan of slimline style cards.  The filigree design of the Half Diamond Die is so elegant.  I layered it over a soft pink patterned paper from Prima’s With Love collection.

The card base is 5″ wide with a 4 1/4″ cutaway front.  The tulips and die cut layer were so pretty that I only added a Reneabouquets Glitter Glass Butterfly , bow and buttons as embellishments.

The inside provided me with plenty of room to add some fussy cut layers, stamped sentiment, pocket and a pretty little pocket.

This is my all time favorite sentiment to add to a homemade bookmark.  Sadly, the stamp has been retired, but isn’t it great?

I’m headed to the kitchen now to prepare our Easter celebration.  (We call it Resurrection Sunday.) It’s supposed to be a sunny day and just warm enough for us to enjoy breaking bread together out under God’s beautiful blue sky!  We are a big family, and we love to gather together and celebrate the love of family, the joy of being together, and the goodness of God.

I pray each of you enjoys a peaceful, beautiful Easter Sunday.  And I hope you get to eat some bunny ears, too!

You’ll find a linked supply list below this post.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

My Mom always made a boiled ham with candied sweet potatoes for Easter…and we always had a lamb shaped pound cake from a famous Chicago bakery. With my own kids, I used to create a fun treasure hunt to find their Easter baskets. The year I thought they had outgrown the hunt, they made clues for each other. Took them to a couple of city egg hunts, but they complained that the eggs were too easy to find! We all loved finding new ways to decorate Easter eggs…and all the egg salad recipes that followed. Ah, memories of days gone by. Tulips are lovely Spring flowers…this year the flower cups were filled with a surprise Spring snowfall!! Our local farm store is selling baby ducks, chicks and rabbits…so sweet. HOPPY EASTER TO ALL!

Oh Kathy, love those Tulips. They look like delicate paper flowers. Beautiful card Kathy!! I hope you have a very special day and lovely Easter weekend. You are amazing at this paper crafting! Love all you make!!! This one is pretty special, my tulips are starting to open now, some are buggy though. Bugs munch on them before they open 🙁 and then you see holes in the lovely petals. Much love

This card is truly a gift of feminity! The inside is just so you! Love that about it. Sorry that bookmark stamp is no longer available…it’s so true. I especially like the bouquet of tulips…were they created from patterned paper or inked? Whichever, the look works so well with the overall card design. Glad to hear you’ll have a large family gathering for Sunday. It’s the best way to celebrate. tfs-stay well. Hugs and Happy Resurrection/Easter Sunday.
