Don’t you just love these beautiful summer blossoms? They are LBC Pastel Palette blooms from the Jessica, Bouquet and Rosalind assortments. (Linked below) I’ve paired up papers from the Texture Brew and True Love Story 12×12 Paper Packs with a digital image to create this interactive card.

Kathy, I was so excited when I opened my email and saw you had a tutorial on this gorgeous card! I got my coffee and sat down and watched it twice! The card is breathtaking and when I actually see how much work you put into them, I appreciate them even more…if that’s possible. Absolutely beautiful, Kathy! Your use of layered paper, textures, and printed images really works marvelously here. And I just loved your video! Very clear and concise and not at the ‘warp speed’ that so many mini-workshops are presented in. (I dont’ know why people feel that crafters won’t take the time to watch the process – if they can’t watch a video, how are they going to take the time to make something? LOL)
I’m enjoying your exploration and journey with mixed media techniques. There was a time when I wouldn’t buy any designer paper that had distressing or age already incorporated in the artwork – I felt like that was “my job.” LOL But, I’ve calmed down quite a bit and can allow the paper do so a lot of the talking (and work! – and clean up!) for me!
Thanks for sharing all the great tips – and I don’t know how you get so up-close and personal to your hot glue without silicone finger tip thingies! I’d have blisters the size of nickels on the ends of my fingers. LOL
