Little Birdie Crafts Vintage Style Baby Girl Folio Tutorial

Little Birdie Crafts Vintage Style Baby Girl Folio Tutorial

Hello, Friends!  Baby projects are always so much fun to make!  This Vintage Style Baby Girl Tutorial is  easy to create and adorable! It uses one of my all time favorite color combos: pink and tan.

All together now…awwwwwwwwwww!  Now that we’ve got that out of our system, we can take a look at the details.  I designed this 6 1/2″ x 6″ trifold folio with a gatefold cover.  Vintage lace, soft peachy pink flowers, vintage style papers, distressed edges and a distressed die cut frame give it a real antique feel.

The frame is die cut from medium weight chipboard and designer paper using Tim’s Ornate Frame Bigz Die.  I’ve tapped it with paint to age it, then mounted one of his Lost Relatives photos behind it.  Sweet baby girl ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon ties the whole design together.

Of course, I had to add flowers.  These are from Little Birdie’s new Peach Blend line of blossoms.  The large ones are Serena Peach Blend,  Tiny white Moonlight Beaded Blooms look so sweet tucked in between the larger blossoms.  The sweet flower cluster on the frame is Daniela Peach Blend.  I’m not sure when these will be available to the public, but I hope it is soon because I want more!

Vintage Style Baby Girl Folio Tutorial: A Quick Peek Inside

The inside of this sweet folio has room for a large 4″ x 4″ photo with journaling space on the left.  On the  right hand side you will find a pocket/gift card combo.  The center is a neat accordion fold mechanism.  The video walk through and tutorial below will reveal all the elements.  Then you’ll be able to create this base, the flaps, pockets and mechanisms by following the step by step photo tutorial.  It’s such a fun, easy design that I think you will want to adapt it for lots of different uses.
