Love Blessings Family Waterfall Folio Album with Carta Bella Fall Blessings
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Are you as happy as I am that fall has finally arrived? I’m actually wearing a sweater as I write this. It’s so cozy! This time of year is my absolute favorite. Clear blue skies, falling leaves and crisp juicy apples fresh from the tree inspired me to make this Love Blessings Family Waterfall Folio Album.
Carta Bella’s playful Fall Blessings collection looks great when combined with ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Traditional Christmas Mix Ribbon Collection. CHRISTMAS ribbon on a fall project? Yes, you heard me correctly! Christmas Paint Splatters Grosgrain Ribbon adds just the right playful touch to this tri-fold album. It’s a perfect collor match for my fall apple theme. Who’d a thunk it?
Antique Gold Netting makes a wonderful ribbon closure. The open weave adds loads of texture. Surprisingly, it is very soft and ties into a beautiful bow! Petaloo Red Botanica Blooms are combined with Vintage Velvet Dogwoods and Red Textured Blossoms on top of a loopy paint splatter bow.
Here’s a peek at the first opening on the album. I’ve used a bit of white crochet lace beneath my title. I’ve prepared a very short YouTube video tour that explains all the elements and shows how the album works.
What’s your favorite thing about fall? I’d love for you to share it with me in the comment section below.
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,

Beautiful album Kathy, such rich colours. Thanks as well for the great video. Although I am not too keen on the cold weather I love it when we get the sunshine with it. There is nothing better than walking around the park with my beautiful faithful four legged friend and seeing the sun shining through the trees. The reflection on the dappled leaves is breathtaking some days. Hugs a
Really love your little albums. I have yet to make one! I know, it’s terrible eh? I have been doing knitting more than any paper things, but I must get busy with the Christmas cards!! I blew it last year and waited too long to accomplish anything! Got pretty mad at myself so I swore I wouldn’t do that again.
Lovely detail and I do love fall/autumn, the colours are lovely and the air is crisp. Great dog walking weather!

Hi Kathy, I to love Fall, here in Texas it is 86f today. not fall weather for sure. I love the fall colors, the fall smells of baking in the oven, the fall clothes, and the fall, preserving. When we lived in Ca. we used to go to apple hill in Oct, it was so good to taste the falls goodies, taste at the different stops and watch them make apple cider. You would drive around a certain area they had made a map for you to see all the different kinds of apples and crafts.
your creation reminded me of this time, and lovely thought and beautiful colors. so inspiring and so well done……..have a good week-end friend. glad you ab family are safe from the tornado….hugs
This is absolutely gorgeous Kathy!
