Love Note Bird Shaker Card

Spellbinders Love Note Bird-Tunnel Scapes-Out and About-Hello Smile-Kathy Clement-Kathy by Design

Spellbinders Out and About Love Note Bird Shaker Card

Hello, Friends!  I spent a fun afternoon creating this cheery Spellbinders Out and About Love Note Bird Shaker Card.  Always a fan of a bird themed project, I created a fun shaker window with the new Tunnel Scape Clouds Dies.

TIP:  Create lots of dimension by placing foam tape between your tunnel layers.  Then add foam tape to the back of  your Love Note Bird before adhering it to the shaker window.

The gold “Hello” sentiment is part of the new Out and About Collection., too.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you will definitely want to take a look.  There are a couple more fun dies that I want to add to my stash!

A Peek Inside

Spellbinders Fern and Indigo Cardstock are the perfect match for papers from the Bayfair Paper  collection.  Green and navy is a bold color combination that I really enjoy!

TIP:  Use washi tape to hold a packet of wildflower seeds in place on the top half of the card.

TIP:  Create a chic and functional sentiment panel by embossing the top of a 4″ x 6″ piece of white cardstock with the Efflorescent Flora 3D embossing folder.  Then make the design pop by brushing lightly with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

The pocket also holds a little Tea Wallet filled with English Breakfast Tea and a packet of honey crystals.

I want to make more of these cute Love Note Birds…maybe in a note card set.  That would make a great gift, wouldn’t it?

You can find a linked supply list below this post.

Thanks for stopping by, friends!

Cheerio,

Birds make a super focal point Kathy, and using the cloud die for the shaker frame is a great idea. Love the way you are using washi tape to hold seed packets etc.
I hope you are having lots of hugs and cuddle time with the new grandson too!

I like to see “no occasion” cards…send for no reason except to let someone know you are in their thoughts. Lovely card, Kathy.

Birds and shakers… definitely a fun mix! As usual, there are so many fun elements on this card. I even see a little bit of lace trim. Your cards always look amazing, my dear Kathy!!! Blessings and hugs!

The vibrant colors just shout out “summer”. There are so many elements that make this card delightful, Kathy. I especially like how you used the cloud dies with the shaker element. The efflorescent embossing folder and indigo cardstock are now on my wish list. Both are lovely additions to your card (and, hopefully, mine some day). Keep cool. Hugs. tfs
