Lullaby Baby Pocket Card with Organza Ribbon and G45 Precious Memories
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! I was looking at photos of the grand girls the other day, which always makes me feel all gooey inside. Suddenly I had the urge to break out my G45 Precious Memories papers and create a baby card . It’s always a good idea to listen to your muse…and that’s how this darling Lullaby Baby Pocket card came into the world.
Because I wanted to keep everything about this card soft and sweet, I decided to go with a white organza bow topped with ivory burlap string. To me, it looks like fairy wings.
The fairies are guarding this precious angel while she peacefully sleeps.
Debra Natural Crochet Lace adds lovely soft texture and a wonderful vintage vibe.
It also did a great job of dressing up my little diaper pin embellishment.
A stamped border and sentiment and a teeny tiny gift card are tucked inside.
The large pocket contains a Staples Regular Ivory tag.
Instead of pulling the ivory burlap string all the way through, I looped it around for a different look, then topped it with more Petaloo flowers.
Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby?
Thanks for stopping by!
Perfectly sweet! I love the combination of the rustic burlap with the delicate lace and the little bits of glitter! As always a show stopper of a design! Big hugs!
Sweet as sweet can be! The baby reminds me of the Gerber baby. This card is just as special as can be, Kathy! Thank you!
Hugs,
Kris

Every card you make is gorgeous but this one has me enthralled with all the little details that make it special. I just love the combination of organdy ribbon and burlap twine! And that diaper pin embellishment is the perfect accent.
Wow, oh wow! I love this one. Those papers are so sweet and that rose is so beautiful! I don’t have anything in my bag of tricks for a baby creation. Something I really need to take care of! Love this one for sure!
