Papercrafting 101: Creating Card Layers with Little Birdie Crafts Birds and Berries Collection

Hello, Friends!  Do you love patterned papers, but struggle when it comes to using them?  Today’s Papercrafting 101 Creating Card Layers is just for you!  I’ve put together a little video tutorial that will give you my top tips for creating beautifully composed card layers.

We’ll be working with this scrumptious Little Birdie Crafts Birds and Berries paper collection and the coordinating flowers and chipboard.  I’ll link a supply list at the bottom of this post.

Let’s face it: working with patterned papers can be challenging.  How do you keep the design from becoming too busy?  How do you pick papers that work together?  While we create the card together, I’ll share the “why” of this design and help you understand how to successfully layer the beautiful patterned papers we all love so much.  The video is loaded with tips, tricks and insights that will really help you move your card making to the next level.

Kathy, I want to match my tea bags to my project. How do you do this? While in Sprouts the other day, I looked around and all the boxes are sealed. I can’t really afford to buy a bunch on a hunch.. (lol)..!

I wanted to get that question in for your first glance at this comment. My first real thought was a hearty Thanks! for the project, the link to Little Birdie Crafts (already placed an order), and this tutorial video. I teach two paper crafts classes in my local area and this is perfect to send out via email to my ladies. Lots of information here for everyone. Blessings, dear lady..!
