How to Make a Mini Album from Scratch with Stamperia Welcome Home
Hello, Friends! Welcome to Part 4 How to Make a Mini Album from scratch with Stamperia Welcome home! From the feedback you have left on my YouTube Channel and blog, y’all seem to be enjoying this in depth tutorial. That makes me so happy! Thanks for all the kind words and comments. Y’all are the best!
Today we’re going to finish out the 2nd signature, finish the flip flap page on the center tab, and make the inserts for the side pockets. You’re going to learn how to make the cute pop up feature pictured in the photo above. Once you know how, you’re not going to want to stop adding this interactive feature to your cards, albums and folios.
Using Large Images in Small Albums
Stamperia has some of the most gorgeous 12×12 papers on the market. But let’s be honest…trying to fit 12×12 paper into a 6×6 album can be very difficult. Over the years, I’ve figured out a way to keep those 12×12 spreads in one piece, and I’m going to share that with you in today’s tutorial.
Fun with Flaps
Several years ago I discovered the magic of flaps. Ever since then, I have found many ways to create interactive elements by scoring a simple flap. I’m going to share a really fun way to create a door that opens in this mini album. I think you’ll like it!

Wow, love the pops up from fussy cuts etc, they add so much more interest and dimension, a change from foam tape layering. Folds, turns, layers, bang on Kathy, this folio is inspiring! Loving the pace and dividing the project into easy to understand and follow sections, they make a project of this size doable rather than overwhelming. Well done indeed.
Love all the pockets and flaps-what a fantastic album. Can’t wait to see the final segment.
