Amazing Paper Grace Peek A Boo Trellis Christmas Card Tutorial with G45 Warm Wishes
Hello, Friends! For today’s Make & Take Tuesday I’m sharing a Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Peek A Boo Trellis Christmas Card Tutorial. This lovely botanical die set is a great match for Graphic 45’s Warm Wishes paper collection. I’m going to show you 2 different ways to use this versatile die. Don’t forget to visit Becca’s blog for even more Peek A Boo Trellis inspiration. She has some truly gorgeous samples and tutorials waiting for you there.
Merry Christmas Cardinal
I love it when I can snuggle a focal image in with some pretty foliage. So for this first card, I made small cuts in the leafy panel, then inserted my focal image into the panel. That’s pretty much all it took to complete the card front. The rest was just adding foliage, ribbons and flowers.
I made this one a box pocket card, tucked in some sweet Christmas treats.
Peppermint sticks, Christmas tea, a Christmas Cookie, honey stick and note card turn this into a lovely little gift.
Inlaid Peek a Boo Trellis Vines
The second card is really quick and easy to make! This time, I cut a 5×7 panel from Warm Wishes Patterns and Solids. Then I centered the Peek A Boo Trellis vines in the center of the panel and die cut. Next, I die cut the reverse side of this same patterned paper and adhered it slightly off center behind the inlaid design. Finally, I stitched the entire panel onto green cardstock.
This time I used the layered rose dies that come with the die set along with a bunch of foliage. Burlap string, rusty jingle bells and vintage buttons give it a great rustic botanical feel.
The inside is simple with a gift card wallet/pocket combo and more of the pretty designer paper.
