Memory Place Peter’s Garden Trifold Tag and Tea Party with Reneabouquets
Happy Wonderful Wednesday, Friends! I think you’re going to love making this Peter’s Garden Trifold Tag and Tea Party Project for our Wonderful Wednesday Tag of the Month. It’s filled with springtime images, flirty florals and lots of sweet treats. Set this out on a kitchen buffet, side table or bookshelf and welcome springtime into your home!
Our Wonderful Wednesday theme for March is “Bunnies and Blossoms”. We’ll be working all this month with 2 collections from Memory Place: Peter’s Garden and Lavender Love. Both feature colors and images that are perfect for springtime. Easter will be here before we turn around twice, and this tag could easily double as an Easter basket for a special friend or family member.
How to Make a Trifold Tag
I created my tag base with my Kathy by Design Shaker Tag Die (available exclusively at The Button Farm Club). I’m working with the 6×6 Peter’s Garden paper pack.
- First, cut 3 tag bases from heavy (110#) cardstock.
- Next, adhere 2 tags back to back.
- Now die cut a tag shape from patterned paper. It will be short, but we will fill in the gap with trims. Adhere this to the front of the 3rd tag.
- Then cut (2) 4 3/4″ x 6″ panels of patterned paper. You can crop the top corners with a scallop punch so that they “match” the tag base better.
- Now score a 1/2″ fold on the left hand side of one panel and the right hand side of the other. Adhere behind the sides of the 3rd tag, then adhere the 3rd tag to the base.
A Peek Inside
Here’s a quick look at the inside trifold. The little journal cards pull out from behind the belly band.
Tea Party in a Box
The reverse side of the tag is actually a Tea Party in a Box with a gardening theme. These darling chicks in a shoe are from Reneabouquets.
I love finding goodies to tuck into these Tea Party in a Box projects. It’s amazing how much you can slip into a tag sized box, isn’t it?

SUPPLY LIST

Easy to follow instructions Kathy for a creative gift that has so many uses. I do love the way you adapted the chipboard doily for another theme. As you move into the colours and summer fun here I am doing autumn colours. We are waiting for a cyclone to pass to the south, we fortunately miss most of it and have everything crossed we can fly out next week, we may have to be patient if there is flooding. Well I guess that gives me more time to watch Kathy videos and be creative too! Thanks again for sharing.
Love this tag-I’m definitely going to follow your instructions to create one!! As always I appreciate your creativity and the videos you share with us.
Hello, my dear Kathy, sorry I haven’t been around in a while. Congratulations on your new die set! I love it, and I love your garden trifold tag!! Everything is so beautiful!! Hugs and blessings!
