Pink, Green and a Promise of Spring!

Pink, Green and a Promise of Spring for RRR Blog Hop with Kaisercraft Mademoiselle Collection

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  It’s time for the February Blog hop with the February Pink & Green Mix Ribbon Club Assortment.  You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog. Pink, green and a promise of spring is just what the doctor ordered as a cure for the winter blues.

Just look at all these fresh, pretty colors, patterns and prints! It’s like getting a field of tulips in your mailbox, I tell you!

Collect Moments Card with Pockets and Inserts

This shabby chic card is made with Kaisercraft’s new Mademoiselle paper collection.  I fell in love with the pink and green color palette and was thrilled to find ribbon that worked so well with this month’s ribbon club.

I layered up pretty papers with pretty ribbons and forgot all about the fact that it’s February!

Apple Green Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon adds just the right pop of color to the cover of the card.   If you look closely, you’ll see the belly band I created with 1.5″ wide crochet lace and Geranium Pink Satin Swirls Ribbon.

Inserts, Pockets and Folios on the inside

Pink, green and a promise of Spring, indeed! I had such fun designing the interior of this card.  And, I managed to use all of the ribbons in this month’s fabulous assortment, which is always a fun challenge for me.

Look at that cheery little mini envelope on the left hand side. It’s just the right size to hold a cheery note or a piece of yummy chocolate.

Triple pockets on the right means lots of room for ribbons, inserts and goodies!

Matted ephemera cards are a great place to add photos and notes.  I love to use them as bookmarks, too! Paper clip embellies sport more pretty ribbons from the collection along with some shabby chic buttons from my stash.

The pockets are even pretty when empty!  That’s because I used more ribbons to create gorgeous borders.

Here’s a clever little folio that is tied shut with a bit of ribbon.

Photo mounts and a tea bag are nestled inside.

On With the Hop!

Now hop on over and see what pink and green sweeties Cherry has cooked up for you this month.

Then be sure to visit each blog on the hop, and leave a comment.  Then pop on over to the RRR BLOG and answer Bonnie’s question of the month so you can be entered into the drawing for a FREE Pink & Green Mix Ribbon Club Assortment.

If you’re not a member of the RRR Ribbon Club, now is a great time to join.  Bonnie has a special offer for new subscribers.  These gorgeous ribbon collections are loaded with fabulous ribbon to enhance your cards, layouts and off the page creations.

I hope I brought a smile to your heart with Pink, Green and a Promise of Spring!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

Beautiful! LOVE the bright colors! We are living through our first substantial snowstorm in a few years right now and seeing these lovely colors brightens my outlook! We have over 12″ of snow and since our driveway is so long (1500′) hubby didn’t have time to plow this morning and I can’t even go to get my mail today! UGH! That is usually the highlight of my day so I am feeling blue right now! Thanks for brightening my day with this lovely post!
