Prima Autumn Sunset Gatefold Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon August Hop
Hello, Friends! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon August Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog. Today I have a shabby chic Prima Autumn Sunset Gatefold Card made with the gorgeous August Ribbon Club Assortment. to share with you.
This 4 1/4″ x 9″ gatefold style card is the perfect way to celebrate fall! I’ve paired up Kiwi Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon with 3/8″ Copper/Cream Plaid Ribbon. These hues are so pretty with the Prima Autumn Sunset Papers!
I don’t think I could manage without my trusty natural burlap string! I buy it by the roll at RRR. It adds such a lovely rustic touch to this fancy belly band.
To make the ribbon cluster on the belly band, I simply attached a length of Kiwi Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon to the back side of my card. Then I brought the ends together on the left and tied a simple square knot. Top with burlap string bow, acorn charms, a fancy button and you’re all set!
Prima Autumn Sunset Gatefold: A Peek Inside
I love the way a gatefold card opens! It’s just like the curtains coming up on a stage!
This stamped and stitched bookmark is topped with ribbons from the Club as well as some WOC Mixed Earth Tone Roses. Gold metallic string adds a touch of shimmer. The best thing about this type of card is that is does triple duty: a card, a gift and a home decor all in one!
On with the Hop!
Now hop on over to the RRR Blog and leave a lovely comment so that you will be entered into the drawing to win your very own August Ribbon Club Assortment.
