Prima Farm Sweet Farm Card Folio Tutorial for Make & Take Tuesday

Hello, Friends!  It’s Make & Take Tuesday and we’re going to create something pretty with Prima’s Farm Sweet Farm Collection.  I have plans to create a Button Farm Club card kit with this collection in June, but I couldn’t wait that long to play with these lovely papers.  Make & Take Tuesday is the perfect time to introduce you to them.  So let’s go down to the farm this morning and see if the flowers are blooming.  The sun is shining brightly, and heard a rumor that Spring is coming, and the sheep are in the meadow.   Shall we?

The Shepherdess and Her Sheep

Prima Farm Sweet Farm Card Folio Tutorial with Reneabouquets Beautiful Board by Kathy Clement Photo 01

What inspires a card design?  It’s always fascinating to me when a small element leads the way to a larger design.  In the case of this card, this precious little Bliss B. Darling Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets fired my imagination.  She made me think of an old fashioned shepherdess.  So I paired her up with the sheep ephemera from Farm Sweet Farm.  The heat embossed Peacock Clock tells us it’s time for Spring.  A lace border amps up the shabby chic vibe.

A Peek Inside

Add a flap page to the top of the folio for photos, notes or quotes.

TIP: Add Journal cards ( 3×4 and 4×6) as layering elements and tuck ins for quick and easy card design.

TIP: Break out your envelope punch board, and create a little sachet envelope for the box pocket.  Tuck in a tea bag and chocolate treat.  Then tie  a vintage demitasse spoon to the cover with pretty ribbon.

Thank you all so much for all the sweet anniversary wishes!  We had a lovely day together!  Then our daughter spent the weekend with us, which was delightful.  She was our private chef on Saturday night, preparing us a sumptuous feast to help us celebrate 46 years as man and wife.  We are truly blessed, and truly thankful!

You’ll find a linked supply list below this post.  Remember, my June card kit will feature this lovely collection!

Now go make something beautiful!

Love this! You’ve added embellishments that work so well and I love the image of the little girl. The bows add the perfect touch and the flowers go so well with the colors of the papers. This tutorial was a great example to show those unintentional errors can always be fixed and I really appreciate that you shared that in the video. I know you could have edited it out but I appreciate that you left it in. This folio is simply beautiful!
