Prima Home Grown Die Cut Window Card Tutorial

Prima Homegrown Die Cut Window Card Tutorial

Hello, Friends!  Our Wonderful Wednesday project for today is a super cute Die Cut Window Card Tutorial featuring Prima Homegrown.  This card looks really impressive, but it’s actually very easy to make…once you  know how!

I hope you’ll enjoy this tutorial over on my YouTube channel:

Where to Find Links and Basic Measurements

Some of you have asked me where to find the linked supply list and/or the basic instructions for our Wonderful Wednesday projects.  If you are watching YouTube on a laptop, pad, or desktop, there is an information box directly below the video title.  (Scroll down below the video to see it.)  Look for the bold print that says “more.,..” and click on that.  The description box will open and you will find all the information you are looking for.  I hope that helps.  If you are watching on TV, you will not see the box.

News & Updates

This is a busy week at Kathy by Design!  Our long-awaited Button Farm Club Christmas Card Kit will release on Friday (the 28th).  I’ll be back then to share the kit reveal with you.  It’s such a beautiful kit this year….and you’ll get a little sneak peek of one of the goodies in the kit in today’s tutorial.  I couldn’t wait to share it with you.

On the knee front, I’m doing really well.  I’m walking a LOT, doing exercises and getting back to normal.  I still get very fatigued by the end of the day.  And, it I overdo it…I pay a price the next day with swelling and tenderness.  So I’m learning my boundaries and feeling really good overall.

I Need to Hear From You

Another bit update is that I am seriously thinking of not renewing my blog this year.  The price has gone up quite a lot…and I’m not sure how many people are actually reading it.  So I need to hear from you:  do you read the blog?  Or do you just watch my YouTube channel and social media sites?  Hearing from you will  help me make a quality decision.

Now, I hope y’all have a blast making your own version of this Die Cut Window Card Tutorial.  I think this would be so cute for Christmas!  What do you think?

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

I do read your blog after getting your email and always enjoy it, but I understand about costs and love your YouTube channel the best. So, I’ll live if you decide to make a change

I do read your blog although sometimes that is after the video. It is good news to hear you are progressing well on the mobility front. I would definitely look for your utube videos, absolutely. Your sneak peak die set is an all round super set for frames, tags, labels, well so many things. Your card is another fun project as usual Kathy, and I look forward to next months designs. We are on the move inland, exploring and catching up with friends after a year at home. It is rather fun to have a change of scenery.

Yes I read your blog. I understand that things are expensive, you do what you feel best. I will miss it but I can catch you on YouTube. I may not respond but I watch every video. Love and

Kathy…I read your BLOG first, then watch the video. I always enjoy reading your narrative. Thank you for having taught me so many wonderful paper crafting techniques!

    I love reading the blog!
I do understand if you can’t continue. Seems like everyone is being forced to cut back.
    Continue getting better❤️

Thanks for the tutorial, I like how you used the die cut for the front of the card. Both cards are so cute-love the mice! Glad to hear you’re doing well after the knee surgery. I usually watch the videos on your blog but I can watch them on YouTube. Also I am looking forward to see your Christmas card release! Thanks again for sharing!

This is the first email I open every Wednesday, then I later go to your You Tube channel. I am glad to hear your surgery has been successful and you are progressing well.

Hi Kathy, I enjoy your projects so much! You are one of my favorite creators. I do actually enjoy the blog and the videos. I would be okay with just watching the videos if you do decide not to renew. A reminder when you upload new videos would be nice though, as I have so many I follow on YouTube. Have a great day!

Nooooo! I don’t always comment on your blog, but I always read it and enjoy it! When I say “Kathy…” to my sister, she knows who I’m talking about! I know everything is getting expensive these days, so I understand, but hope you can continue your blog.
