Today, the design team is sharing the beautiful creations they’ve made using the September Ribbon Club Assortment. These Haunted Halloween ribbons are perfect for fall crafting: lots of wonderful color, texture and design. Take a look:
Doesn’t this just put you right in the mood for fall crafting? I know it did me! I dug out my Graphic 45 A Place in Time collection and put together this fun little Pumpkin Time card using the wonderful Tangerine Shimmer Satin, Swiss Dot Tangerine and Black dots ribbon and the Black Ric Rac.
This is a 7″ x 5″ top fold card. This card has 4 layers: the base layer with the green polka dots, the pumpkin paper layer and then the post card layer with the focal on top. There is stitching around the edges of each layer. Once my layers were all put together, I ran Tangerine Shimmer Satin up the left hand side of the polka dot layer, tucking the ends under the top and bottom to keep things nice and neat. The black ric rac was layered on top of the Shimmer satin ribbon, and I just love the way it looks.
I lightly sanded the card focal, inked the edges with Vintage Photo, then ran my black ric rac through the holes on either end. I had to add just a touch of Diamond Stickles to the pumpkins and the little boys hat.
I love working with this swiss dot satin ribbon. It is soft and luxurious and makes the most beautiful bows. I tied a triple loop bow with my Zutter Bow-it-All, then layered it with a small rosette and vintage button. It really makes the card feel festive!
The inside of the card is sweet and simple.
I love pumpkins! There’s a pumpkin farm not too far from our house, and I love to drive by it this time of year because it’s full of plump, lazy pumpkins soaking up the sun and dreaming of pumpkin pie!
Since I’m the last stop on the blog, you just need to go back to the RRR BLOG and answer Bonnie’s secret question of the month and then you’ll be entered in the drawing to win your own package of Haunted Halloween Ribbons! Thanks for stopping by! Your visits and your comments make me happy right down to the tips of my crafty little fingers.
Until next time….

Well Miss Kathy, all I wanna know is, how does one get to be on the receiving end of such a GRAND and STUNNING work of art?!!! This is not “a” card—this is “THE” card!!! It’s so beautiful and a true treasure in and of itself. I love how your layered the black ric rac atop the shimmery orange and then created that ultra gorgeous rosette centered bow!!! The ric rac on the focal tag looks so great and your stitching around the card really finishes it off so beautifully!! You’re an incredible inspiration and your work is so very enjoyable to feast my eyes upon! LOVE it so much! Hope you and yours have a wonderful and blessed weekend my friend! xoxo
