Really Reasonable Ribbon January 2024 Blog Hop: Love Birds Shaker Card Folio

Hello, Friends!  Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon January 2024 Blog Hop!  You should be coming here from Gloria’s blog.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete hop list over on the RRR Blog. Our theme for this month’s hop is Valentine’s Day.  While red and pink are the colors we usually think of, I decided to use Medium Pink Plaid with a pop of Aqua  Grosgrain Ribbon in my bow cluster.

Valentine Posies

Flowers and Valentine’s go together, so I surrounded my heart frame with loads of pretty pink and aqua mulberry flowers from RRR. I’ve used a mix of Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms, Chrysanthemums, Cosmos Daisies and Tea Roses in my floral display.  They really pick up on the hues in the designer paper.

A Peek Inside

This fancy fold card cover is actually a magnetic flap over a 5 1/2″ square card base.

I love this design because it has so much room to tuck in goodies and interactive elements.

These sweet  tags are a digital design from Polly’s Paper. They were such a good match for this project, that I just had to tuck them inside.  They are topped with Pink and Teal Baker’s Twine streamers.

I’ve also used a lot of paper pretties from Reneabouquets, and I’ll link to them in the supply list below this post.

Of course, there’s a pocket with some tea and honey crystals tucked inside!  You wouldn’t expect anything else, would you?

On With the Really Reasonable Ribbon January 2024 Blog Hop

Now hop on over to see what beauties my teammate Cheryl has cooked up for you. Once you’ve visited all the blogs in this hop, finish up over on the RRR Blog where you can answer Bonnie’s Question of the Month.   This will enter you in the drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate and a free digital stamp set of your choice.

Enjoy the hop!

Wow, that is super cool! I love how you did the upper right and lower left on the front of this, very cool! I may have to do something like this!! Thank you for sharing the inspiration for the blog hop!

It wasn’t until last year that I began to appreciate this color combination outside of Spring. This is a lovely Valentine project, Kathy! I prefer granulated honey packs over honey sticks for a couple of reasons: I can create cards of all sizes sizes and I feel more “safe” mailing!!

Thanks for this beautiful display, Kathy. The RRR Blog Hop appears to be a great success once again. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog this morning. I really appreciate it. Have a blessed and creative week, my friend.
