Really Reasonable Ribbon March 2022 Blog Hop: Stamperia Lilac Flowers Loaded Envelope
Hello, Friends! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon March 2022 Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Ginny’s lovely blog. We are showcasing the Spring Pastel Ribbons from the March 2022 Ribbon Club Assortment. What a pretty array of spring colors and patterns to play with!
Lilac Memories
Spring always reminds me of the beautiful lilac trees I enjoyed as a child. Lilacs thrived in our chilly Vermont springtime. They always blossomed in late May, and the heady fragrance was on the breeze everywhere you went. We used to pick bouquets for our teachers on the way into school. I remember the heavy blossoms would be dripping with lilac scented dew, and we would wear that lovely scent all day long. I think that’s why I was drawn to the ribbons with purple shades for this project.
First, decorate the flap side of the envelope box. What a treat to use these lovely ribbons to adorn my loaded envelope! I created a border and a belly band with the pretty pastel floral satin ribbon. Hyacinth Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon adds a pop of color and contrast to the design.
Butterflies, Rosettes, Shaker Frames and Lilacs
Now it’s time to flip the envelope over and decorate the front side. This is the display side of the envelope, so I really dressed it up.
Hyacinth Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon highlights the Reneabouquets Shaker Frame and Butterfly. So if you get tired of the view on one side of the envelope, you can flip it around to the back side.
Delicate stitched satin is one of my very favorite ribbons to work with because it ties so easily and creates such beautiful bows.
Springtime Tea Party in a Loaded Envelope
Now let’s take a look at all the goodies I tucked inside this loaded envelope.
First, I created a slimline tri-fold folio. The ribbon closure adds texture, pattern, and a feminine feel to the folio design.
The front flap page is the perfect place to tuck in a trio of tags and some chocolate treats.
Write little notes on the back of the tags, or add small photos here.
The center panel is a flap page with a magnetic closure. You’ll find lots of room for photos here.
The box of this loaded envelope is so roomy that it’s easy to tuck in a bookmark, vintage teaspoon, cookies, chocolate, tea envelope and a butterfly rosette wand. Dress up the butterfly wand with Polka Dot Confetti Ribbon from the Club Assortment.
Once all the treats have been enjoyed, the envelope box is a great place to keep photos, letters or other small memorabilia.
On With the Hop
Now hop on over and see what paper pretties my teammate Cheryl has in store for you. Then pay a visit to Karen’s lovely blog. Finish up over on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. Be sure to answer Bonnie’s Question of the Month to be entered into a drawing for a FREE Ribbon Club Assortment.
If you’re not a member of the Monthly Ribbon Club yet, now is a great time to join. (Trust me…I’ve seen the April ribbons, and they are gorgeous!) Find out how to join HERE.
