Really Reasonable Ribbon November 2023 Blog Hop: Stamperia Sweet Christmas Wall Hanging
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon November 2023 Blog Hop! You should be coming here from Ginny’s lovely blog. Our theme for the hop this month is “Christmas”. I dug through my stash of beautiful Christmas papers and ribbons to make this shabby chic mixed media wall hanging with Stamperia Sweet Winter papers and ephemera.
Shabby Chic Ribbons and Trims
When you are creating a shabby chic project, Robin’s Egg Wrinkled Ribbon and Silver Metallic String are very good choices. I’ve adorned my mixed media background with sweetheart blossoms, magnolia blossoms, and chrysanthemums in shades of pink and white.
Mixed Media Background
To create a sparkling holiday background on your patterned paper, begin with a stencil and Festive Berries Distress Ink. Next, spread Crackle Texture Paste through the stencil and let it dry. Then, come back a third time and brush Glitter Glaze through the stencil for a sparkly background. Finish up with a dusting of Rajni Chawla’s Glitter Glass and a spattering of diluted ivory paint. Messy stitching adds another layer of texture to the edges of the wall hanging.
TIP: Amp up the winter vibe by dry brushing all the edges of your chipboard and paper with ivory chalk paint. It really makes things pop!
On With the Hop!
Now hop on over the Cheryl’s lovely blog to see what Christmas goodies she has prepared for you. Be sure to finish up over on the RRR blog so you can answer Bonnie’s Question of the Month and be entered into a drawing for a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon and the digital stamp set of your choice.
You will find a linked supply list below this post.
Enjoy the hop!
Thanks for stopping by, friends!

So pretty, love the color combo!
Turquoise and silver is a nice combination…love how you’ve used the silver metallic string…color is there, but doesn’t overwhelm. This remains the only pink Christmas collection my traditional brain accepts! The images are so beautiful! Well done, Kathy!
