Red Christmas Roses Card: October 2016 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop
Hello, Friends! So nice to have you hopping along with us for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop! You have come here from the very talented Archana’s blog. With Christmas looming, I thought it might be wise for me to get a jump start on my holiday cards. So today I have a classic Red Christmas Rose Card to share with you.
I treated myself to the new Classic Rose Stamp and Die, and I’m so glad I did! These roses are so easy to make and they come out just gorgeous.
The roses were stamped in Versamark Embossing ink onto pattered paper from the All Geared Up Collection. (Bet you didn’t expect that now, did you?) Then they were heat embossed with Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing Powder. My background layers were created with gold and white cardstock that I embossed with a couple of different folders, then distressed.
It’s a very simple, straightforward card. I kept it that way so that the roses would take center stage.
I also finished the inside very simply using papers from the Sparkling Poinsettia Collection.
Now hop on over and see what kind of inspiration Emelia has for you.
Be sure to visit all the blogs in the hop, as one lucky comment will be randomly chosen from a mystery blog and that person will win a $25 gift card to Heartfelt Creations. It just might be you! The hop runs until midnight on Friday, October 28th, and the winners will be announced around noon on Saturday, October 29th.
