Romantique Garden Wedding Portfolio
Hello, Friends! When I was a young girl (many loooooong years ago!) my best friend’s mother grew bleeding heart bushes in her flower garden. Every year, I would wait with great anticipation for them to bloom. There was something about these brilliant pink heart shaped flowers that just drew me in. They were delicate and dramatic in their unique beauty. Nothing else in the garden looked quite like them. So when Heartfelt Creations released the new Romantique Garden Collection, I was anxious to create with it. This week, I have a Romantique Garden Wedding portfolio to share with you all.
I began with a blank 8 1/2″ x 11″ Sara’s Surfaces Portfolio covering it with papers and images from the collection along with some of the corner dies from Cut, Mat, Create 2B Die.
I also added some Prima bling to the mix.
Stickles just seemed appropriate.
The portfolio opens at the top. I secured it with a velcro dot.
It opens out to reveal black and white wedding photos from a wedding with a Bleeding Hearts theme. Amazing, right?
Dont you love the photo of the bride and groom holding the heart shaped blossom in their hands?
It’s hard to see here, but the wedding cake also featured bleeding heart blooms.
I included some hidden journaling tags to write down memories from the special day. You’ll find a complete supply list and detailed tutorial below.
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy

Add the die cut lace corners to the layer between the focal image and the mat, snipping the die cut so that it will curl around the sides of the focal. Add the Prima Crystals and lace, as shown. Cover the interior of the portfolio as shown. Add the Velcro dots before you decorate the covered portfolio. Add the Cut, Mat, Create A Mats, using foam dots to secure to the portfolio base. Leave the center and left edge open on one side of one mat so that you can tuck in some tags. Die cut your photos with the matching B dies. Add die cut tabs to photos before you mat them. Cut two tags using HCD 745 Luggage and Tags die and tuck behind the photo mat you prepared earlier. Add tickets, tags and artwork along with brads, rhinestone swirls and Prima velvet ribbon to decorate.
