RRR Hop: Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Party Tag Box

Really Reasonable Ribbon Hop: Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Party Tag Box

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  It’s time for the Really Reasonable Ribbon July Blog Hop! You should be coming here all inspired after having visited Karen’s lovely blog.   I’ve created the cutest little Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Party Tag Box to share with you today.  It’s all decked out with the RRR Blue and Yellow Ribbon Mix and ready to party.

These are the gorgeous ribbons in the July Ribbon Club.  I love all the ribbon club assortments, but this one is especially beautiful.  The colors are just so perfect for summer crafting!

Summer parties, here I come!  The base for this tag box is Eileen Hull’s Card Box Die from her Book Club I Collection.  I’ve decorated the box with beautiful Botanical Tea Papers.  Then I added a lovely border strip to the bottom of the box.  Next, I wrapped the top of the box with the gorgeous Capri Blue Plaid Ribbon from the Ribbon Club Assortment.

This sweet little banner is from the original Botanical Tea Collection.  To make it, twist Natural Burlap String until it begins to coil in on itself.  Then, tie knots on either end of the string and adhere to the box base with hot glue.  Next, I threaded some of my precious vintage pearl buttons and adhered them between each banner.  The finishing touch is a beautiful Beaded Fancy Flower from my Etsy shop.

The back side of the box is just as pretty as the front!

Botanical Tea Party Tag Box: The Tags

I created a trio of tags to slip into the box.  These are Graphic 45 Square Ivory Laser Cut Tags from the Celebrate, Party, Cheers assortment.

Each tag is topped with a different ribbon from the Ribbon Club Assortment.  This one is topped with the 5/8″ Yellow Poppy Print Satin Ribbon.

Top this lovely tag with some chipboard and summery Capri Blue Taffeta Ribbon.  Do you see the sweet little teacup charms?  I’ve attached them  with Natural Burlap String.

This tag opens to reveal a little gift card pocket.  Use magnets to hold it shut.

This festive tag is topped with two ribbons: 3/8″ Capri Blue Checkerboard Satin and 3/8″ Blue and Yellow Diamond Print Grosgrain Ribbon.

This tag also has a magnetic folio attached to it.  I’ve tucked some sweet cut apart images into the pocket.

Kathy, here’s another one of your fabulous projects that just gets my creative juices flowing! Love these ribbons…and using them for a group of themed tags is such a great way to make the most of them. The Ellen Hull box is what brings it all together for me. I’m picturing a way to gift someone with a week of celebrating whatever the occasion might be–just pull a tag a day out of the box! As always, thanks for sharing your incredible talent.

This ribbon assortment is perfect for the Botancial Tea collection papers. As soon as I saw the box, I was thinking how pretty for it to hold tea bags. 🙂

What an awesome use of the card box! I have had some stuffed envelopes in the plan for a while but have not yet completed them…this idea of using a box is so much better! I love that everything has hidden compartments for gift cards or goodies! Another lovely project, Kathy!

This is a fabulous creation. The ribbon really stands out and I don’t know if I could give it away if I made it. Or sell it for that matter. Beautiful.

Oh Sweet Kathy may I come and sit at your crafting table for a year or so??? This is fabulous – love love the layers, layers layers of embellishments – I need to LEARN this so – tell me – is there a tutorial? I just received some mini tea cups with spoon charms and oh – I am going to have to save the link to here and LIFT it – but unfortunately I know my lifting is not going to match or even exceed your lovely make! TFS and you are one fabulous artist! Blessings, Gail

I don’t know how you come up with all the terrific ways to use itsy bitsy teeny tiny pieces of paper and have them become part of a beautiful cohesive ‘whole.’ Brava! This is a keeper!
