Rustic Ribbons for Christmas

RRR Blog Hop BadgeRustic  Ribbons for Christmas

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  It’s time for our November Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon!  You should be coming here from Dana’s Blog.  If you get lost along the way, I have a list of all the blogs below. This month, we are featuring the delightfully rustic ribbons from the November Ribbon Club Assortment. I love using rustic ribbons for Christmas projects.  They add that homey, nostalgic touch that makes us feel all warm and cozy.  Here’s a peeky at this wonderful ribbon assortment:

This photo doesn’t really do these gorgeous ribbons justice because you can’t really see the shine and texture.  Being a lover of all things vintage, these rustic ribbons are precisely my cup of tea and I used them to add the perfect finishing touch to some beautiful Christmas cards. I’m sharing a couple of them here with you today.

RRR Blog Hop 01I love the little gold thread that runs through this rustic plaid ribbon!  It was the perfect accent for this card made with an image from Crafty Secret’s Christmas journal and My Mind’s Eye Vintage Christmas papers.

I used this same ribbon on this sweet vintage card:

From here, you will hop over to visit Cherry’s blog.  If you get lost along the way, here’s a list of all the stops to help you get back on track.

Kathy…your Christmas cards are beautiful!!! I am a lover of the traditional red and green Christmas colors on cards but I may have to rethink that! :). Your two cards with their deep, rich rustic colors are stunning. The gingham ribbon is such a nice compliment for your card designs. Your bows are always perfect. Both of your cards are so different but each so pretty! <3 Candy
