Authentique Clover: Saint Patrick’s Day Trifold Shaker Folio Tutorial
Hello, Friends! Valentine’s Day is past, it’s time to get ready for the wearin’ of the green! Don’t you just love St. Patrick’s Day? This Saint Patrick’s Day Trifold Shaker Folio Tutorial is made with Authentique Paper’s gloriously green Clover Collection Kit. It’s sure to make your Irish eyes smile!
Will you just look at that lovely little Irish man and wife sitting under the light of the moon amid a field of clover? It that doesn’t make your heart happy, I don’t know what would! I told Dale, that’s him and me in about 7 more years!
This 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folio base is made with just one sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ heavy ivory cardstock. Once you master the making of this simple folio design, you’ll be churning them out in big batches for all kinds of occasions. They are so fun and easy to make!
I’m also sharing a tutorial for creating the shaker frame, which I know will make many of you very happy indeed!
Saint Patrick’s Day Trifold Shaker Folio Tutorial: A Peek Inside
Because Clover is such a vibrant and whimsical collection, I’ve added some fun interactive elements inside.
You’ll find pull out pages, tuck spots and flap pages.
The heart of the project is the center panel pocket.
Sometimes, I can’t believe how much I manage to pack into one of these little folios. The tutorial will guide you through creating the pocket, the insert and the little tea bag wallet. You’ll have to provide the Soda Bread recipe yourself.
Saint Patrick’s Day Trifold Shaker Folio Tutorial Video
NOTE: I need to add a correction to this video tutorial. In a sleep deprived state, I provided the wrong measurements for the Green Thumb Spectrum liner panels. The correct measurements are 5 3/8″ x 5 3/8″ for the square panels. The “short” panel should measure 4 5/8″ x 5 3/8″. So sorry for any frustration or confusion this error might have caused. Never create a video tutorial when you are tired! Lesson learned. Thanks for your gracious understanding.

This is great, Love the trifold folio. Just beautiful.
Hwy Kathy – this is beyond adorable. Immediately pulled out by St. Patrick’s Day stash and set about making one. Not sure where I went wrong but ended up with five and half inch square. Panels making the first layer of paper (where yo put the Authentique Spectrum Green Thumbs) five and three eighths, not four and seventh eights sqare
Have adjusted and am half way through but just wondering if I went wrong along the way..love the way the whole folio comes together…as always, brilliant
