Santa Lane Envelope Mini Album with Halloween Ribbons!
The Black Sheer Satin Gold Edged Ribbon is the perfect accent for this country inspired Santa Lane Envelope Mini Album. I’ve added a tutorial below so you can see how I made this quick and easy 5×7 album.
The bow cluster features this same pretty ribbon tucked beneath some Christmas flowers. Sometimes it’s fun to think “outside the box” and use a Ribbon Club Assortment in an unexpected way.

Who would’ve thought ‘Christmas’ with this new ribbon assortment that screams ‘Halloween’??! You, of course!! And it’s so perfect! I love using black on Christmas cards as it looks so elegant. Love every beautiful detail of your portfolio. And I spy some cute little coffee cups – yummy! lol
Love this classy sheer ribbon! Such a beautiful project!
What a darling album, Kathy! You have added so many wonderful elements to enjoy. The poinsettias are gorgeous and that little deer is just precious. The background papers are perfect to highlight everything. I just want to keep looking at it! Thank you for sharing! Hugs!
Beautiful vintage Christmas and so clever to use the Halloween ribbon! Thanks for the video!
This is spectacular Kathy! I always love seeing a holiday themed collection used for a different purpose. They are all so versatile if you really look at the individual ribbons. Such a beautiful mini album!
Clever way to show how versatile this months assortment is. Well Done!
“Let’s give ’em pumpkin to talk about” – Christmas! Your inventive use of a Halloween set of ribbons for a Christmas–themed project really struck a “gourd” with me this year. Just shows what “Witchful thinking” outside the box can produce! Great video and “brew-tiful” tips my friend!
Christmas surprise! I expected a Halloween project…just goes to show how that “box” seems to limit my thinking for this ribbon collection. I’m heading over to watch the video.
As always another fabulous creation!

Hi Kathy — I am back watching the video – like the fold over you created and slid down the back – It has been a while since I used envelopes to create a folio – this turned out grand – great ideas! The kit is similar to Echo park but they do not have the dies – at least some of the items are similar — they do have cardstock so I love their heavy cardstock!! and Chipboard – plan to order some kits when the sale comes on for my folio binge – Happy Day!
The video rocks as always and would love that box of goodies!! Always enjoyable to stop by on RRR hop for sure — Your work inspires me – and so much I am still making folios!! I have been on a roll since we last talked ~ I will be back to watch the entire video – had to go but saw the opening of the box so far – hugs,
This was so fun to watch, so many ideas now floating in my head. Beautiful collection of ephemera, great kit! Another design I’ll archive!

This was a fun project to do with envelopes that one might have leftover & don’t know what to do with them. Hope you are well & that Dale is well also. Be safe, be well & TYFS
I really don’t have much Halloween stuff even though it is one of my favourite times of year! Great little album Kathy, now I’m off to watch the video. I had a class on Saturday past that we learnt how to make an envelope album, it was fun and want to make some more as gifts stuffed with lottery tickets and gift card or… Thanks for sharing.
