Christmas in July: Spellbinders Home for Christmas Card and a SALE!

Hello, Friends!   It’s time for Christmas in July, and I have a sweet Spellbinders Home for Christmas Card to kick things off.  I had hoped to do a big Christmas in July week, but life doesn’t always cooperate with our desires, does it?  Everything here is fine, so no worries.  It’s just been an extra busy month with out of town company, family birthdays, doctor appointments and garden chores, so I fell a bit behind.

Home for Christmas Vignette House

We love this darling Amazing Paper Grace 3-D Pop Up Vignette House die.  So we paired it up with the perfect sentiment from Spellbinder’s Home for Christmas Sentiment Stamps.  I love it when products work together so well.  If you look behind the sleigh, you will see the stamped greenery that comes with the set.  Soon this Christmas house will be all decked out with Christmas evergreens, berries and holly.  How delightful!

It’s hard to detect in the photographs, but the trees, greenery, door, window and trims are treated to a little frosted crystal action.  This amps up the holiday vibe and adds just the right amount of sparkle to the project.

A Peek Inside

Do you give a lot of gift cards at Christmas?  Dress up the giving by adding a little pocket and gift card wallet inside a card.  Even a small gift card feels extra special when it is dressed up with pretty papers, don’t you think?

Kathy, what a wonderful Christmas card! I am imagining that is Santa’s house. And there sets his beautiful sleigh waiting for his bag of presents. The poinsettias are gorgeous and add a lovely holiday touch. This house die is absolutely fantastic AND so versatile. I love it! Can’t wait to see what you have for tomorrow. Thank you for sharing! Hugs!

My favorite element on this card is that plaid designer paper used for the house! Quilting is in my past, so Christmas in July is much appreciated. It does take time to get everything done, even when we start this early! Thanks for getting us started, Kathy!

Although I don’t like to think of Christmas in July but it’s a good time to get a head start on makes. I usually leave things till a month a way and then the race is on and every year I say I’m going to do better. 🙂 Ha. Thanks for the inspiration and that little house die is so versatile. Happy Hump Day Kathy. Enjoy your day.

Hi Kathy! I love your card! You have managed to capture a lot of the Christmas “feels”, the house, snow, the truck full of gifts, the sleigh with the tree, and that gorgeous poinsettia cluster with the sentiment. By the way, you are not falling behind, you are just doing too much! Please take time for yourself! Love and hugs, my dear friend. xx
