Spellbinders Lily Arch Clear Stamp and Die of the Month

Hello, Friends!  I had some fun this weekend playing with the new Spellbinder Lily Arch Clear Stamp and Dies.  These are the February 2024 Clear Stamp/Die of the Month Club feature.  I’m continuing my quest to improve my stamping and coloring skills this year.  This lovely stamp and die set was so easy to use!  In fact, I had such fun with it, that I pulled it out and let the grand girls have a play with it, too.  They loved it as much as I did!

First, stamp and color the image with Distress Oxide Inks and a water brush.  The colors I used were Dusty Concord (stamping) Shaded Lilac, and Shabby Shutters. Next, cut out the image with the matching die.  Then back with foam tape and layer over some pretty Prima Plant Department papers.  Brush some glitter over the petals, if desired.  The camera doesn’t pick up this subtle effect, but it’s quite pretty in real life.

Matching Designer Envelopes

I’m really enjoying making custom envelopes with my designer papers and envelope punch board.  These smaller cards (4 1/2″ x 6″) are not embellished as heavily, so they slip nicely into the envelope.  Because the paper is double sided, there is no need to line the inside of the envelope.

A Peek Inside

Create a flap page on the left hand side of the card, then tuck a sweet little tag into an oicjet made from an ephemera piece.

Here’s a look at the card fully opened.  There’s plenty of room to write a note or add a photo.  And I still managed to create a little pocket to hold my tea wallet and honey crystals pouch.

How Spellbinder Clubs Work

I actually think I’m starting to relax and enjoy coloring stamped images a little more.  It’s always fun to learn a new skill, isn’t it?
