Stamperia Alice Mixed Media Etcetera Tag for Frilly and Funkie
Hello, Friends! Are you up for another Stamperia Alice project? This mixed media Etcetera Tag is loaded with techniques, trinkets and trims for the latest challenge over on the Frilly and Funkie Blog. I’ll be sharing a tutorial for this project over on the Frilly and Funkie blog this Saturday, June 8th. Before we look at photos, let’s see what Jenny, our gracious and talented challenge hostess, has cooked up for the theme:
Challenge Theme: Embellishments, Trinkets and Trims
Linda sells a huge array of beautiful embellishments, trinkets and trims in her store, from metal filigree pieces and charms to buttons, laces and ribbons. They can be the important focal point on a project or the final finishing touches that complete it. However you wish to use them lets see those embellishments, trinkets and trims in action on your vintage or shabby chic entries.
Stamperia Alice Mixed Media Etcetera Tag: Embellishments Trinkets and Trims
If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you already know how much I love embellishments. I first found The Funkie Junkie Boutique because of the wide array of beautiful and affordable metals, embellishments, flowers, ribbons, laces, and buttons that Linda carries in her shop. If you haven’t checked them out, you really need to! The photo above shows just a sampling of embellishments that I felt worked well with this Alice Mixed Media Etcetera Tag.
I love to take these items and alter them with paints, embossing powders, alcohol inks…anything to take them to the next level.
Since I’ll be sharing a tutorial for this Alice Mixed Media Etcetera Tag for the Saturday Showcase over on the Frilly and Funkie Blog, I’m not going to share a lot of details here. This is more of a sneaky peek to whet your appetite for the full reveal.
Stamperia Alice Mixed Media Etcetera Tag: Girly Grunge meets Shabby Chic
Creating this tag was so much fun! It’s like Girly Grunge and Shabby Chic got together threw a mixed media party. The tutorial on Saturday is filled with easy techniques that I think you will enjoy. I know I enjoyed the process thoroughly! And there is a surprise element to this tag that I will reveal then as well. I can’t wait to share all the details with you on Saturday!
Until then, you can check out other Alice projects HERE.
Embellishments, Trinkets and Trims: Now It’s YOUR Turn!

Your projects always inspire me and this is no exception Kathy! I love how the white rabbit is peaking through the window and of course all those patina’d charms work perfectly with the paper collection. So good to be able to see the flower cluster around the window in detail as it shows the different buds, blooms and leaves you incorporate to get that gorgeous look. Beautiful! xx
That rabbit peeking out of the window gave me such a big smile! Charming tag with so many beautiful embellishments!
Wow! Another fabulous project, Kathy!! You gorgeous ensemble of trinkets, embossing powders and Alice papers is over the top great!! The retired shutters really added fab dimension and interest!
Oh Kathy …this tag is cute as can be! Always, luv your embellishments and your flowers!!! And luv that itty bitty alarm clock on top of the window! Funkie Junkie Boutique has the greatest prices and the cutest embellies I’ve ever seen! …..Waiting for your tutorial!!! Hugs, Suzy Q
I just love this project. I would LOVE to make one just like it. The rabbit image is wonderful. I will have to buy some of the paper.
I for one, cannot wait until Saturday! Once again, you have knocked your creative ball out of the park! Your tag is so cool, Kathy, and you’ve embellished your embellishments so perfectly! I’m really loving the patina on the charms and that shaker element (of course!). Like I said, I really don’t want to miss your tutorial! How amazing you and Maggi chose many of the same products–that ribbon!!? Sending hugs!
Love this tag with the shutters – what a great idea!!
You’ve truly whet my curiosity with your sneak peek…can’t wait to see the full tutorial on Saturday. The window setting shaker for this tag is an amazing design. tfs
