Stamperia Alice Shaker Window Mini Album Tutorial with Reneabouquets
Hello, Friends! Today’s Stamperia Alice Shaker Window Mini Album Tutorial is a spin off from the Alice Altered Mini Album we made 2 weeks ago. I still had 3 signatures left over after altering the album, plus (she hangs her head in shame) a sizeable pile of scraps. I thought it might be fun to show you how you can make a really cute mini album using one of the signatures as a base. And that is what we are doing this Throwback Thursday.
But can we talk for just a minute? Why did I buy so much Alice paper? I think I must have been afraid of one day running out, because I have a lifetime supply. I kid you not! That’s just fair warning that sooner or later there will be another Alice project. Do you mind? I think a lot of you seem to enjoy Alice as much as I do. But if you are tired of her, please let me know, and I will try to restrain myself. Now, let’s get on with today’s project!
It’s Always Tea Time
Since I was in a “clear out the stash” mode, I went searching for other goodies to add to this project. Lo, and behold! I found a Prima Venetian Shutter window in my stash! Perfect for a shaker window on the cover of the album. And, I found this adorable Mad Hatter and Alice in my stash of Reneabouquets goodies. (She has a huge selection of Alice chippies!) The flowers are also from Reneabouquets, as are some of the charms and trinkets on the cover. I’ll link to everything below.
This album represents the part of the story where Alice drank from a bottle that made her shrink. I say that because this adorable album is only 5 1/2″ square and only about 1/2″ thick. The nice thing about albums this size is that you can make them in a day.
A Peek Inside
When you watch the video tutorial, you’ll see that this tiny album is loaded with interactive features. I have pockets, hidden pockets, pull out pages, slide in pages, pop ups and more built into the design. It’s wonderful fun to flip through.
In keeping with the wacky vibe of Alice’s story, some flaps flip up, while others flip down.
And there are mysterious doors to open, too! Wonder what’s lurking behind this door? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!
