Stamperia Alice Tea Time Banner
Hello, Friends! I’m back with more Stamperia Alice! I hope you are not tired of seeing these projects, because I can’t seem to stop playing with this collection! This Stamperia Alice Tea Time Banner was a special order in my ETSY shop. I’m not gonna lie: this one was hard to ship off to the customer. It might just be my favorite banner creation of all time.
It’s a great, big, beautiful party banner measuring nearly 5 feet in length. You can see the teacup I made to go with it sitting in the center of the banner. Find more details about that HERE.
These are all hand cut banners. No dies…just scissors and ruler and steady hands. Each large pennant measures 5″ x 7″. The little ATC tags between are from Graphic 45. Turned on their heads (how fitting for an Alice banner, right?) they make lovely little pennants.
My dear friend Sara of sarascloset recently gifted me with some vintage silver spoons. Two of them had bent handles. Sara said, “I don’t know what on earth you will do with these.” But I knew right away that I wanted to add them to a tea themed banner. Now I wish I had a dozen of them in my stash! Thank you so very much, Sara Emily!
The flowers are Little Birdie, of course. Good news! You can now buy these online from The Button Farm Club. Laura has an amazing assortment at very good prices! Happy dance!
Crochet doiiies and machine stitching add lovely vintage texture to each pennant in the banner. And this collection is made for fussy cutting!
Here’s the other bent spoon. This one was not as tarnished as the first. Since I wanted it to match, I took it to the Mixed Media Day Spa and treated it with Stampendous Aged Silver Embossing Powder. It worked like a charm!
This was such a fun project to make, and I loved the way it turned out. I thought you might enjoy seeing it as well.
Wishing you a restful and happy Sunday!
Cheerio,
kathy

Always enjoy seeing your banners, Kathy. They are so unique created. This one is clearly among my favorites. Each pennant is a work of art that can easily stand alone. The alternating sizes add a unique touch–so eye catching. Thanks for continuing to share your banners–they always invite me to try one myself.
You know how much a love your banners and this one is no different. The WOW factor is there everywhere I look. 🙂 Great project Kathy. Thank you.
Oh, now I really love what you have done here, Kathy! Look at that creative way you’ve used those weird spoons! You are so clever and loaded with talent! I love the tea themed banner and of course, tea cup. I bet you did have fun making this, and I can see why it was hard to drop in the mail! I do hope you made two, and kept one for yourself! I will start keeping my eyes peeled for those bent baby spoons! Love, love, LOVE your Alice themed banner! Sending more hugs!
This could not be any cuter. Every little detail is just perfect! Love your work and this is no exception. Fabulous!
Kathy…this is adorable!
Impressively Splendid! I love tea and all things tea – off to have a cuppa and re-read your lovely blog.
Though this really is a beautiful project, complete with those very interesting spoons, I remain partial to your last purple banner! This one is quite inventive, I must say. I would have felt compelled to hang something off the G45 tags…those holes are too inviting of action! I know your customer was happy with your creative banner!! Well done!
I am so proud of you! Love,mw
Outstanding Kathy!!! This has to be the cutest, best banner I have seen yet – would love to have one hanging in my craft room – love everything about it and the cup!!!
Awesome. Such a lovely banner.
Oh my goodness Kathy! This is another …just awesome Banner!!! And a tea one …did you make yourself one too? …being the Tea Lady that you are! It would look beautiful hanging in your amazing studio? …I have a confession ….I have never seen Alice in Wonderland or read the story …but …I’m gonna have to! All this Alice & etc. …has me wondering what I’ve missed!!! This is truly gorgeous …luv every single detail you’ve put into it! And there’s tons of details! Thanks for sharing! Wow Kathy!! I don’t even know how you have time to think of all the great stuff you do, let alone make all this fantastic stuff. This is another masterpiece as usual.
Another gorgeous work of art!!!
Kathy, this banner is so fantastic! Each pennant is just a visual delight! Can’t stop looking at them. I can totally see how this would be your favorite. It is stunning!
