Stamperia Garden of Promises Flip Folio for RRR

Stamperia Garden of Promises Flip Folio for Really Reasonable Ribbon July 2022 Blog Hop

Hello, Friends!  Today I’m sharing a Stamperia Garden of Promises Flip Folio as my inspiration project for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Club July 2022 Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Gloria’s lovely blog. This month’s Vintage Floral Assortment Ribbon Club  is the perfect pairing for this lovely paper collection.  Take a peek!

Vintage Floral Garden of Promises

How did I use the Ribbon Club Assortment in this 6×6 flip folio?  Let me count the ways!

  • First, create a ribbon closure with the elegant Wild Rose Taffeta Ribbon. This shade of pink made these vintage papers come alive.
  • Next, add a ribbon watch fob to a metallic clock embellishment.  The 3/8″ Mini Floral Print and Wild Rose Satin Swiss Dot, are sized perfectly for this task.
  • Then don’t forget to add a little ribbon at the top of the dangle charm on the spine of the folio.  It’s the perfect finishing touch, and it covers the hole punch and hardware nicely.
A Peek Inside

Ribbon adds texture, color and style inside this little folio, too.  French Blue Delicate Stitched Satin holds this pull out page neatly in place.

TIP: Attach a chipboard charm to the ribbon closure with jump rings.

Wild Rose Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon makes a great border on the top of this box pocket.  I use 1/4″ Scor-Tape to hold it securely in place.

Dress up this Spellbinders Tiara Trifold Tag with a bit of 5/8″ Vintage Floral Satin Ribbon.  It’s also fun to tie a snippet of Tiny Butterfly Print Satin around a wooden honey dipper.

Garden of the Gods: For me this is jewel in the crown of beautiful papers you have used recently. I took a detour to your links and ordered paper and other items from this series and cannot wait to make something. And a bonus I have the Tiara Trifold Tag! Your creation as usual is always a sensational hit with me and now I am off to see the tutorial on the big screen. (By the way, kudos to Dale for his music talents.). The ribbons are lovely – package of delight!
