Stamperia Patchwork Tea Folio for Really Reasonable Ribbon July Blog Hop

Hello, Friends!  Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon July Blog Hop!  You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog.  This month we’re featuring the Sizzling Summer Ribbon Club Assortment.  These bold hues are perfect playmates for this Stamperia Patchwork Tea Folio.

Maize Checkerboard Satin serves as the bow and as the ribbon closure for this 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ tri fold folio.  Then I layered it with 3/8″ Citrus Dots Grosgrain and Gold Metallic String as a border on the folio cover.

Don’t let the petite size of this folio fool you!  I’ve packed loads of fun inside.  Here’s a cute tuck spot with a journal tag.  There’s room to add a photo behind the image, as well as a place to write a message on the back side. You can also tuck a photo behind the circular image on the right.

This sweet little tea tag is topped with more of the citrus dots grosgrain ribbon.  And there’s room for a small photo on the back.

Here’s a look at the folio when fully opened.

The center panel is a little ribbon-tied flap pocket.

If there’s tea, one must have a special little spoon and some honey to go with it!

The right hand side is a really fun pull out folio.  You’ll see it demonstrated in the 5 minute project share video below.

On with the hop!

Now hop on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  Answer Bonnie’s question of the month so you will be entered into the drawing for your very own Sizzlin’ Summer Ribbon Club Assortment.

This summer card is delightful, Kathy. Just the other day I was at our local farmers market enjoying the wonderful gift of summer watermelon–then I saw your card and smiled. You’re right about the RRR ribbons and this paper set being a great match. This patchwork themed design is as sweet as the watermelon! tfs

You’ve included the perfectly coordinated tea package and spoon…lovely embellishments for this folio! As much as others are loving this paper collection, I passed on buying it. So glad your creative brain knew what to do with these bold colors and images. Nice work!

Awesome folio Kathy!! Stamperia paper is one of my favorite paper lines and I love the double matting – I do this a lot myself – it really adds a POP to places that can otherwise be boring – beautiful work – again!!!

Wow, Kathy! What a beautiful interactive folio. I especially like that last segment where you have created the “pullouts”. How fantastic and what a great idea. You have managed to pack a LOT of elements into a small package and it is such fun! Okay, I have to say , that Stamperia patchwork collection is one of the most versatile ever. It always looks new to me. I love it! And those ribbons coordinate so beautifully with the colors in the paper. Thank you for sharing the video. They are always so much fun to watch! Hugs!
