Stamperia Winter Tales Slimline Card with APG Jingle Frame Die

Hello, Friends!  We interrupt out normally scheduled fall projects to bring you this Stamperia Winter Tales Slimline Card.  Yes, I  know I am going to be called out for rushing the season.  But the fact is, Spellbinders has just released some gorgeous new holiday products that I just had to share with you.  Besides, it takes a while to get  all those Christmas cards made.  So why not get a jump on things?  That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Holiday Medley Jingle Frame Die

Holiday Medley Jingle Frame Die Slimline Card by Kathy Clement Photo 01

Talk about a match made in heaven!  I love the way this Jingle Word Frame Die complements the Stamperia Winter Tales Collection!  The flourished background of the paper plays so well with the frame.  And yes, I turned it into a shaker element…did you ever have any doubts that I would?

Don’t you just love the way the sequin mix sparkles through the openings in the frame? It makes me think of looking at Christmas lights through a wintry window pane.

Next I die cut the sentiment from regular blue cardstock and silver foil cardstock.  If you adhere them together slightly offset, it creates a drop shadow effect and helps the words pop off the paper a bit better.

A Peek Inside

When a Christmas card doubles as a gift, it’s a real time saver.

Create a little tea wallet/note card to tuck inside the pocket.  Notice how I used the Jingle Frame die to create a nice backdrop for the Snow Queen image.

You have plenty of room in this wallet to tuck in a winter tea bag, mini chocolate and even a gift card, should you desire to do so.  The panel on the left is the perfect place to add a personal message.

Do you feel inspired to get started on your handmade Christmas gift list?  I’ll be back soon with more ideas for using these lovely Spellbinders holiday dies.

This is winter wrapped in a gorgeous card. Oh that paper is devine and of course all the embellishments just ratchet up the feeling of winter. This color scheme and paper choices are devine. In other words, another Kathy miracle wondrous make!

Your beautiful ‘Blues’ slimline card is just gorgeous …down to the mi-nute detail of the blue teabag and frosted bells and flowers! It just looks ‘Wintery’!!! Hugs, Suzy Q

Beautiful card, Kathy. I have seen most of your tutorials on youtube. Did I miss the one that shows how you prepare these cards for mailing? I always wonder because yours are so fluffy with embellies extending off the card edges often. (I usually wrap mine in white tissue paper and then place in a bubble bag. Since I make large cards (6×6) mailing cost is close to $5 and that is within California.) Have a great rest of the weekend…

Kathy, what a beautiful, elegant card! Those winter blues are so pretty. I love the shaker elements in that gorgeous filigree frame. Of course the inside is as beautiful as the front. The snow queen is just lovely! I like the blue tea packet. It matches everything! Thank you for sharing! hugs!

Your bow cluster stands out on this lovely card! I’m getting more comfortable with placing a bow tails up…nice on this winter card. LOVE Stamperia and how they design their collections. The colors of this collection make me want to grab a sweater! I definitely agree with your lettering technique…works really well.

Beautiful frosty card, Kathy!! I made a mini album with this collection – it is so gorgeous! I probably have just enough scraps to make a card – as always, I truly enjoy and appreciate your sharing with us.

Stamperia papers and Mintay papers are my favourites. Stamperia are just so “delicate” looking, very feminine papers. I have quite the collection on them. This slimline card is beautiful Kathy and I have yet to make a slimline card. Thank you for the inspiration Kathy. Have a great Saturday my friend.
