Super Sweet Easter Treat Basket

Really Reasonable Ribbon Hop, Hop, Hop: Super Sweet Easter Treat Basket

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Welcome to the March RRR Blog Hop!  You should be coming here full of inspiration from Karen’s lovely blog.  If you get off track, you can find the complete hop list HERE.  With Easter right around the corner, I’ve created a super sweet Easter treat basket using ribbons from the March Spring Rainbow of Color Ribbon Assortment.

These lovely ribbons look like a bed of beautiful spring tulips, don’t they?

Sweet Vintage Style Easter Cards in a Basket

Super Sweet Easter Treat Basket by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 1The inspiration for this Sweet Easter Treat Basket was the bright, bold colors of the Tangerine Honeycomb Satin ribbon, Daffodil Checkerboard Satin Ribbon, and Apple Green Mini Hearts Grosgrain Ribbon from the assortment.  They make me think of carrots, which makes me think of bunnies which make me think of the Easter Bunny.  Yes, I have a strange and frightening mind.  LOL

What’s in the Super Sweet Easter Treat Basket?

Super Sweet Easter Treat Basket by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 4I created a trio of vintage style Easter cards using Graphic 45’s Le Cirque collection (retired) and darling vintage Easter images from Polly’s Paper Studio Etsy Shop.  It may seem odd to use circus themed papers for Easter, but the colors of this collection really worked with the vintage style images and rainbow colored ribbons.  This 3/8″ Capri Blue Diamond Satin ribbon pops against the yellows on this cute little card.

Lots of colour, lots of lovely vintage kids and bunnies. Who would love to get this? ME. lol Have a great day Kathy.
We are in a rain cloud up here. Wet and gray. Boy can’t wait to see my daffodils and hyacinth open up, providing we don’t get another surprise snow fall. Yuck. Enough already.
    Hugs from Canada.
