Sweet Christmas Bluebirds Easel Card with Really Reasonable Ribbon
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Can I squeeze in one more Christmas card before the big day arrives? Sure I can! This Sweet Christmas Bluebirds Easel Card adorned with Peacock Alley Seam Binding makes my heart sing.
This is a 5″ x 7″ upright easel card. The color palette makes me swoon!
Winter birds are my absolute favorite. We have bluebirds in our back yard, and every time I see that flash of color at the feeder, it makes me happy.
This bow cluster started with a triple loop seam binding bow. I topped this with a loopy gold metallic string bow and vintage velvet dogwood blossoms. Naturally, I tied them both with my trusty Zutter Bow it All Tool!
Like all easel cards, this one folds flat for mailing or storage.
I’ve tucked a wee tag into the gift card/treat pocket. This way, the card becomes a gift.
The journal card is the perfect place to add a personal greeting.
I’ve had such fun making Christmas cards in non-traditional colors. Don’t get me wrong: I love red and green and gold! But there’s something kind of dreamy about this pink and aqua Sweet Christmas Bluebirds easel card that appeals to my imagination. I’d love to hear your thoughts about it in the comment section below.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Kathy I’m a little late with this one but I just had to comment on such a beautiful card. I love the colours, seam binding such a clever way and who could not like the sweet birds. Take the Christmas label off and it will suit so many occasions. Xx
I love the birds and how beautiful this is! Non Traditional Christmas is wonderful! Merry Merry Christmas Kathy and thank you for your always inspiring posts and follow up notes!
Where did you get the paper to make the card? I loooove it!
Catherine, the paper is Stamperia Sweet Christmas. It’s a little hard to find, but I got it online at Crafty City. https://www.craftycity.com/
