Graphic 45 Flower Market Folio Tutorial Part 2: Finishing the February Folio
Hello, Friends! Just as I promised, here’s the Graphic 45 Flower Market Folio Tutorial Part 2. We introduced this new “through the year” calendar folio series on Tuesday. If you missed that post, you can get caught up HERE.
The first part of this tutorial will show you how to create the folio base. We’ll be using this same basic design for each month in 2023, so it’s good to watch that first segment before you dig into today’s post.
Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. Their cheery faces never fail to make me smile. And, they are such hardy little blooms! Here in North Carolina they can bloom from October all the way into early May. So I’m very happy that Graphic 45 made them the featured blossom in their gorgeous Flower Market paper collection.
February’s “Guest Stars”
In addition to the G45 February papers, I chose 2 other paper collections to serve as our “guest stars”. Heartfelt Creations Burst of Spring and Prima Darcelle work beautifully with these gorgeous botanicals.
I’m really enjoying digging into my stash to find patterns from other collections that flow well with the Flower Market collection.
The darker purple tones in Darcelle add a much needed contrast to the G45 papers. Plus, it’s always fun to use up papers from my stash.
If you don’t have Burst of Spring or Darcelle in your Closet of Inspiration and Delight, then I’m sure you can find a suitable substitute.
