Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Victorian Splendor Die of the Month
Hello, Friends! I’m thrilled to be sharing this Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Victorian Splendor Slimline Die set with you today. Slimline, you say? But this is not a slimline card! Correct you are, my friend. To show the versatility of this gorgeous APG Die of the Month, I created a 5×7 top fold shaker card using bits and bobs of Lemoncraft Delicious papers.
My inspiration for this card design is an ornate Victorian style door with a leaded glass sidelight. The “sidelight” is easy to transform into a shaker element! How fun is that?
You will have loads of fun trying different configuration with these dies. You can see a few more ideas on the Spellbinders website. And Becca has a tutorial on her blog as well.
Can you see the shaker mix sparkling back behind the intricate border design? I topped the center of each medallion with itty bitty blossoms. The foliage that comes with the blossoms looks beautiful tucked in with my pre-made roses and leaves.
I don’t know about you, but I am loving this delicate frame! Slightly larger than an ATC card, it makes such a pretty base for the fussy cut image and flowers that serve as the focal for this card.
A Peek Inside
Inside, I’ve stamped a sentiment from the Essential Sentiments Clear Stamps Set. The tea theme is carried to the inside of the card with fussy cut images of fancy fruit jams and silverware. The little gift card holder tucks into the pocket. And there’s room to write a note here, too.
I’m hoping I will have more time to play with this fabulous die soon! It’s so beautiful, and really inspirational to work with.
