Everyday Heroes Double Pocket Card Tutorial for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday
Hello, Friends!
Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! I’m featuring another wonderful Everyday Heroes creation this week, and will show you how I made this fun interactive card in the double pocket card tutorial below. Grab a cuppa and a snack…lots of photos and info coming your way!
This is the fun Everyday Heroes card we will be making today. It’s tiny, but mighty…measuring only 4″ x 6″ when all folded up. But it’s loaded with pockets, tags and room to tuck in a gift card, tea bag or individually wrapped chocolate. It would be great for Father’s Day or graduation, too!
The front of the card has double pockets with two tags tucked inside. I stamped my cardstock base with the fabulous Newsprint Stamp. This might just by my very favorite stamp that Heartfelt Creations has ever produced! Oh, the ideas I have in my head for using this stamp!!! I used the beautiful Arianna Blooms stamp and die to create the flowers from copper metallic cardstock. The antiqued globe was made with the Everyday Heroes My World Stamp set and cut out with the Everyday Heroes Die. Here’s a close up of the flowers:
I brushed the edges with paint and filled the center with beads. Shaping them was easy because I used my Deluxe Flower Shaping kit!
The card opens to reveal a double pocket on the inside that has been filled with journaling inserts from the paper collection and a stamped card front. Plenty of room here to tuck in a gift card! Now, let’s get started with our Double Pocket Card Tutorial!
Voila! Your double pocket card is now ready to be decorated and filled with tags and other goodies. You’ll find a complete supply list and detailed tutorial below.
Also, just a reminder, my April Blog Candy event is going on now. Each Monday in April I am giving away a very gently used set of retired Heartfelt Creations stamps.
