Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Tall and Skinny Card for the RRR Hop

Hello, Friends! Today I have a Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Tall and Skinny Card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon March Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Karen’s lovely blog. Since I had just purchased these lovely Carta Bella Farmhouse Market papers, I decided to work with the coral toned ribbons from the collection. They are a perfect match up for the saturated hues and floral patterns.

Ribbon can be used in so many different ways when you are designing a card. Coral Rose Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon acts as a border along the base of this 4″ x 8 1/2″ cut away card.

The same ribbon looks amazing tucked into the bow cluster with some cream flowers and iridescent metallic string.

Wrap the same iridescent metallic string around the top of the card to add a touch of shine. Then top with some flat back pearls to add a bit of elegance.

The inside of this card is pretty simple. Add a sentiment from the ephemera pack. Then make a quick and easy side pocket to hold a note card and a treat.

Mat the 4″ x 6″ journal card on cream cardstock so you can write a note on the back. And you knew there had to be tea tucked in somewhere, didn’t you?

Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Live True Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, Friends! I’m inviting spring to burst upon us with this sweet and simple Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Live True Card. The sentiment on the front is from one of my favorite authors, Laura Ingalls Wilder. These are wise words and true, and the older I get, the more I believe them! These pretty Farmhouse Market papers are a perfect match up for the RRR March Ribbon Club Assortment. How great is that?

This 6×6 card features loads of paper layers, a die cut doily, pearls and posies. If that doesn’t entice springtime, then I don’t know what will! Pretty Coral Rose Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon works perfectly as a border and really helps the sentiment panel to pop.

Light Coral Diamond Satin makes for a pretty bow cluster when paired up with these flowers that I found in my stash. (retired Petaloo).

The inside of the card is sweet and simple, too. A lovely floral panel for writing a note covers the bottom half of the card. And a color matched tea bag is nested inside a small double pocket on the top. To make the double pocket, adhere the ends of the ephemera card on the sides of the note card pocket. So easy, but so pretty!
