Hello, Friends! The flowers bursting out of our little garden bed inspired this Bee Sweet Bee Kind Bee-utiful Wall Hanging. I don’t know what your summer flower garden looks like, but ours is really showing off right now, and the bees are truly happy about it!
Turquoise Chevron Striped Twill from Really Reasonable Ribbon does double duty here as a belly band, and as a bow. This ribbon just never seems to go out of style. It’s a perfect color match for all the blossoms in this project. And do you spot the pretty Lemon border made with Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board? It fits right in, along with one of her bodacious Lemon Blossom Bees!
TIP: Give a chipboard frame a makeover by spattering it with Distress Paint. It knocks back the shine, and adds a lovely aged feeling to the chipboard.
I had a lot of fun with the shaker elements on this piece. In addition to sequins, I tossed in buttons, bee buttons, heart ephemera, beads and pearls. So much fun!

Lemon Twist and Shout Creative Kit Reveal for The Button Farm Club
Hello, Friends! I’m really excited to share this Lemon Twist and Shout Creative Kit for The Button Farm Club! This kit has a little bit of everything I love to make built into it: cards; shaker cards, folios and even a lemony luscious banner!
Believe it or not, I selected this collection mid-January! It has taken all this time for Simple Stories to get this collection back from the printer and shipped out. But i think it was worth the wait. It’s loaded with cheery lemons, buzzing bees, beautiful botanicals and fluttering butterflies. Lemon Twist is such unique collection that I wanted to create a unique kit with a little bit of everything in it…so I did!
Lemon Twist Fancy Fold Cards
It’s always a good thing to have a quick and easy card design for those moments when you have to get a card made in a short period of time. This fancy fold card design does just that…but I’ve added a couple of “extra” features to it that make it stand out. You can see what I mean in the video reveal below.
And you all know how much I love a good easel card! But when it doubles as a shaker card, I’m extra happy! But there’s more to this fancy fold card than meets the eye!
It’s actually a clever little folio with a hidden pocket! What a great way to brighten up your desk!

These kits are great to pack along for a crop, a scrappy retreat or a vacation because almost everything you need is included. All you need to add to your kit is the adhesive of your choice, standard cutting and scoring tools, Black Soot Distress Ink (optional), a standard hole punch and a hot glue gun.
