Hello, Friends!  It’s time for me to roll out our Authentique May Desk Calendar Tutorial.  Remember”April Showers Bring May Flowers? The  April  desk calendar was all about rain showers. This May calendar is all about living life in full bloom.  How perfect is that?

Each calendar in the series follows the same basic design template.  The May folio measures 6″ x 6″ .  If you are new to the blog and want to check out the January-April calendar tutorials, click HERE. Even if you haven’t been following along with these monthly desk calendars, you might want to consider making this one.  It’s the perfect Mother’s Day gift!

Learn how to add all this wonderful dimension and color to your desk calendar in the video tutorial below.  It’s broken down into easy to follow steps.  First we will build the easel style folio base.  Next we will create the hidden pocket panel inside the folio.  Then we will create a quick and easy pocket that doubles as the stopper for the easel card.  Next, learn how to make all the cute inserts for that pocket  Finally, we will decorate  the calendar front with bows and flowers.
