Graphic 45 Mon Amour Card Tutorial for Throwback Thursday
Hello Friends! Welcome to the latest installment of Throwback Thursday! Today I’m serving up this shabby chic, romantic Graphic 45 Mon Amour Card tutorial. This gorgeous collection was released in 2015, and I’m betting a lot of you G45 fans have some in your stash. Since Valentine’s Day is creeping up on us, I thought it would be fun to feature it on Throwback Thursday. If you don’t have it on hand, you can still use this tutorial with another “oldie but goodie” collection. So dust off your paper stash, sharpen your scissors and let’s get our craft on!
Graphic 45 Mon Amour Card Tutorial: The Basics
The base for this card is a 5″ x 7″ top fold with a 1/2″ spine made from an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cream cardstock. If you’ve never made this style of card base before, you can find a tutorial for that HERE. This Halloween tutorial demonstrates the technique used for building a 5″ x 7″ top fold card with a 1/2″ base. It is a side fold card in the tutorial. To make it a top fold card, simply, turn it “on its head” and then proceed with this tutorial.
Here is a look at what we’ll be making today:
That gorgeous butterfly cluster features Printed Beauty Board from Renea Bouquets. I love the dimension and sparkle it adds to the card.
