Stamperia Pink Christmas Mini Album Project Share with Tips and Tricks
Hello, Friends! This episode of Throwback Thursday features a Stamperia Pink Christmas Mini Album. While this is not a full fledged tutorial, it is loaded with tips, tricks and ideas you can use in your next mini album making adventure.
I think you will enjoy learning how I altered this Graphic 45 Rectangle Tag and Pocket Album base to make it a little less intimidating to finish. Then I’ll show you how I created the vintage silver edges on the album cover.
Here’s a close up of the beautiful Little Birdie Flowers and Reneabouquets Leaves .
Delicate swirls of snowflakes adorn the corners of the album cover. And just look at these sweet winter songbirds!
This picture shows the glittery snow effect on the trees, roof and landscape.
Do you love a charm dangle as much as I do? This cluster sounds almost like Christmas Bells when it moves. And I’ll share my secret tip for creating “metal” numbers on the spine, too.
Interactive Pages
Here’s a peek inside the album. I actually used 4 different Stamperia paper collections to fill up all these pages.
The album is loaded with neat interactive features like this waterfall page with a magnetic belly band closure. I’ll show you how I put that together in the video.
Don’t you love these sweet Victorian images and color palette?
Add unexpected features to your album pages to keep it interesting. This pop up feature is so easy to make, and I’ll tell you how I did it in the project share.
Large images can be difficult to fit in an album. But they make great flap pages! Simply score a 1/2″ hinge on the side and adhere behind the base page.
Stamperia Pink Christmas Mini Album Project Share on YouTube
If you’d like to learn more about how I created this lovely album, please enjoy this in depth project share on YouTube.
This lovely album is now on its way to one of my sweet Etsy shop customers. She ordered it as a special Christmas gift for her sister. I had to get it made quickly and shipped off to her so she can then ship it to her sister who lives far away. That’s why I did not have time to do a tutorial. But I think you’ll find lots of helpful ideas in the project share video.
I’d love to hear your thoughts about this project in the comment section below.
