Really Reasonable Ribbon October 2023 Blog Hop:  Thanksgiving Easel Card

Hello, Friends!  Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon October 2023 Blog Hop!  You should be coming here from Ginny’s lovely blog.  The theme for this month’s hop is Thanksgiving or Autumn colors.  That’s one of my favorite themes, and I had a wonderful time  adding all sorts of RRR trims and posies to this 6×6 easel card.

Copper Satin Ribbon with a Gold Metallic Edge is the perfect partner for this autumn  extravaganza.  Topped with Gold Metallic String and a sweet little acorn button, it sets the tone for a rich time spent with friends and family.

Fall flowers are some of the prettiest blooms of the year, so I loaded up this card with bunches of Mixed Earth Tone Magnolias, Chrysanthemums and 25mm Cottage Roses from the RRR shop.  Chipboard accents (listed below) from Reneabouquets lovely shop turn this card into a fall home decor piece.

A Peek Inside

The stopper on this easel card is actually a pocket.  Create a border at the top of the pocket with the same Copper Satin Ribbon to add extra texture and shine to the card design.

A little Pumpkin Spice Tea Wallet and honey stick  in the pocket turns this card into a gift.  It’s the perfect way to send a little love to far away family members or to thank a thoughtful hostess.

On With the Hop

Now hop on over and see what paper pretties my teammate Cheryl has prepared for you.  Then finish up the hop over on the RRR Blog so you can answer Bonnie’s Question of the Month and enter the drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate and the Digital Stamp Set of your choice.

Thanks for hopping, friends!

Pumpkin and Spice Loaded Library Pockets Tutorial

Prima Pumpkin and Spice Loaded Library Pockets Tutorial for Throwback Thursday

Hello, Friends!  It’s Throwback Thursday and I have the sweetest Pumpkin and Spice Loaded Library Pockets Tutorial to share with you.  These little cuties are so quick and easy to make that you are going to want to make stacks of them to have on hand for quick gifts, table decor or party favors.

This design is easy to adapt for birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, or Christmas.  Wouldn’t they make the cutest stocking stuffers ever? (Note to self: make these in a Christmas theme!)

Each loaded library pocket measures 4 1/2″ x 6″.  I’ve tucked a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ note card, vintage demitasse spoon,  Pumpkin Spice teabag, honey stick and bookmark into each pocket.

If the weather was cooler, you can bet I’d find a way to add chocolate to the pocket, too.

Use scraps leftover from previous projects to line and decorate your pockets and the card inserts.  That’s a double-win in my book!

These would be so cute displayed in a pretty basket as part of your fall home decor.

You can change up the items you tuck into the library pockets to make customized gifts for your friends and family.  How fun is that?
