Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs Photo Folio Card Tutorial
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Today I have a really fun to make Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs Photo Folio Tutorial to share with you. This is a great gift idea for your favorite pet loving friend or family member. It’s made with G45 Raining Cats and Dogs DCE, and made fabulous with Really Reasonable Ribbon!
The base for this 5″ x 7″ card is a standard gate fold design. I love the way RRR 5/8″ Double Faced Jade Satin Ribbon blends with the teal tones of the designer paper.
I’ve tucked loopy little Natural Burlap String Bows in with my bow clusters to add some contrast and texture. Of course, I tied all my bows with my fabulous Bow-it-All Tool.
This time, just to change things up a bit, I attached my bow cluster to the top of a little hinge clip. This is both pretty and practical, as the clip holds the gate shut.
Raining Cats and Dogs Photo Folio Card: A Peek Inside the Gate
Gatefold cards give you lots of room to add pretty papers and images.
The center panel of the card includes a fun flap element. I’ve decorated the “wings” with a post card image that is cut in half to fit .
Border strips layered over an image creates a feeling of depth and dimension.
When you lift the flap element, you find room to add photos of your favorite pets. You can add journaling to the post cards on either side. Stickers, chipboard and novelty buttons add a playful feel to the design.
