Graphic 45 Let it Bee Square Tag Mini Album Tutorial for Make & Take Tuesday

Hello, Friends! For this week’s Make & Take Tuesday, I have a sweet Graphic 45 Let it Bee Square Tag Mini Album Tutorial to share with you. If you like little books, bees and cheery patterned paper, you are going to have fun today!

When i was on the Graphic 45 Design Team, I found all sorts of fun ways to alter tags. But this adorable square tag mini album really is the Bee’s Knees, as they say! The 4 3/4″ square size makes it adorable. The paper collection gives it a wonderful vintage feel, and the fact that I was able to add a spine and tabbed pages gives you lots of opportunities to play with these delightful patterns and images.

First, I amped up the bee vibe by adding some Reneabouquets Printed Beautiful Board and Backgrounds to my cover design. Then I tucked in Graphic 45 chips, Little Birdie Flowers, bee charms and Burlap String just for fun.

Here you can see the decorated spine. Adding the chipboard piece to the spine helps to strengthen and stabilize it. Plus, it’s cute! That’s always a win in my book! The tutorial will show you how to make the album base, add the tag pages, create a pull out mechanism and see how I was able to stretch my designer paper to cover the tage.

A Peek Inside

The fun starts on the very first page with a clever little pull out folio mechanism.

You’ll find tip in pages, flaps, and pockets here. While this is designed to serve primarily as a lap book, I did leave a few spots for photos and journaling.

If you’re a fan of bees and sunflowers, this collection is pretty much a must have item for your stash.

I also used the doily and clock dies to help dress up my pages. And here’s another of those gorgeous bees from Reneabouquets.

I also dressed up the pages with some of Renea’s Beautiful Bits Wildflowers Chips.

I even managed to find room for a little waterfall feature on the last page. You’ll have to watch the video to see what’s hiding beneath it!
