Really Reasonable Ribbon April 2024 Blog Hop

Really Reasonable Ribbon April 2024 Blog Hop with Stamperia Brocante Vintage Gifts Tag Box

Hello, Friends!  This Stamperia Brocante Vintage Gifts Tag Box is my inspiration piece for the Really Reasonable Ribbon April 2024 Blog Hop.  Welcome to the hop!  You should be coming here from  Gloria’s lovely blog.  The theme for our hop this month is “Flowers or Mother’s Day.”  I decided to combine the two, and made this adorable little tag box to hold a series of mini folios.

The box is all dressed up with beautiful white Magnolias, Mixed Pink Peony flowers and Mixed Pastel Sweetheart Blossoms from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Robins’ Egg Blue Wrinkled Ribbon and Iridescent Metallic String add lovely texture and shine to the box design.  Add some adorable metal feet and you’ve got a gift worthy of mom!

What’s Inside the Box

Create a set of 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ mini folios to go inside the tag box.  Tie each one with more of the Robin’s Egg Blue ribbon and dress up with your favorite papers.

You can see the details of this project in this quick Project Share Video on my YouTube channel.

I’ve added the directions for creating the tag box and the mini folios in the description box below the video on my YouTube channel.

On With the Hop!

Now hop on over and see what paper pretties Cheryl has in store for you. And don’t forget to pop on by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and enter the drawing for a $10 gift certificate and the free digital stamp set of your choosing.

Enjoy the hop!

Stamperia Brocante Tea Cups Easel Card with Really Reasonable Ribbon Flowers & Trims

Hello, Friends!  If you’re a tea lover like me, I think you’re going to enjoy this Stamperia Brocante Tea Cups Easel Card.  I’ve dressed it up with beautiful mulberry flowers and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Do you love teal and tan color palettes as much as I do?  It’s such a calming color combo, and it really works on this 6×6 easel card.  I’ve clustered up an array of RRR Mulberry Flowers (listed below) with a beautiful Champagne Wrinkled Ribbon Bow.

Vintage buttons pulled from my stash add that antique shop feel to the card while precious silver tea charms and a teeny tiny spoon and tray make this card extra special.  I could not resist adding a shimmering Reneabouquets butterfly to the mix.  It was a perfect color match!

A Peek Inside

The tea party continues inside the card. This time, you can find a small tag pocket built into the easel mechanism.

It’s always fun to add a surprise element to a card, don’t you think?

I’ve added a gift card pocket that doubles as a stopper for the easel mechanism.  The gift card holder has a little pocket inside as well as room to add a little note.

If you haven’t tried tying a bow with wrinkled ribbon yet, I highly recommend it.  Because it is very thin, you can really get a nice “pouf” effect.  The texture is not too soft, so the bows hold their shape well.  And, it comes in a rainbow of colors, which is always nice.  Champagne Wrinkled Ribbon goes with just about anything, and almost seems to change hues depending on the papers/flowers it adorns.

Suddenly I feel the need for a cup of tea, so I think I’ll go rustle one up in the kitchen.
