How to Make a Mini Album From Scratch

How to Make a Mini Album From Scratch with Stamperia Welcome Home

Hello, Friends!  Today I’m starting a video series to show  you how to make a mini album from scratch.  We’ll be working with papers, ephemera and die cuts from Stamperia Welcome Home. This tutorial will be broken down into at least two parts, and possibly three.  I want to keep the segments focused on specific topics so that I can keep the length to about 30 minutes each.  Today’s segment will focus on creating the album base, tabbed spine, inside liners and multi-page pocket signatures.

I’m still recovering from the summer cold I caught from my sweet grandgirls.  Feeling much better, but my voice is not up to par as you will notice in the final segment of the video tutorial. I apologize in advance.

Tools and Supplies

We don’t have a lot of photos to share at this point in the process.  But I think you’ll enjoy learning how to create your own mini album using nothing more than some chipboard, cardstock, and adhesive of  your choice.

You’ll find it handy to have a scoring tool, ruler, precision paper trimmer and Scor-Tape on hand.  The cover is built with 2 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock.  Create the chipboard cover with (2) 6×6 pieces of matboard or chipboard and (1) 2″ x 6″ piece of matboard or chipboard for the spine.  I’m using medium strength chipboard.

That’s all I have to say about that.  LOL  Let’s get this mini album making party started.

I’ll go ahead and post a supply list below so you can be ready for segment 2.

I hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day Celebration.
