Ciao Bella Flower Shop Tea Party in a Shaker Tag Tutorial for Wind Back Wednesday
Hello, Friends! Today’s Tea Party in a Shaker Tag Tutorial features Ciao Bella’s lovely Flower Shop paper collection. Soft shades of peach, green, pink and cream make it the perfect springtime project. The Tea Party in a Box features make it the perfect gift for Mom on Mother’s Day…or any day, really!
It’s a Wind Back Wednesday today, so we’re using up some of the older but still lovely goodies from our stash. I had purchased this paper collection when it came out last spring, but never found the time to use it. So it’s time to set it free from the Closet of Inspiration and Delight, don’t you think?
We’re also using my Button Farm Club Shaker Tag Die. I love creating with this die because of the generous size. (You can see other projects using this die HERE and HERE.) Are you ready to play along with me today? Then let’s get started!
The Shaker Frame
This shaker frame is made with a Spellbinder’s Embroidery hoop, acetate sheet, foam tape and a sweet leafy die cut. Tie a tag around the side of the hoop, add some lovely Reneabouquets dragonflies, pretty flowers and a charm, and you’ve got a really lovely shaker frame!
The Pop Up Page
Here’s a fun surprise! A little pop up village tucked in between two of the folio pages. I’ll show you how to do this in the video tutorial below.
Kinetic Waterfall
I don’t know if I’ll ever get tired of making these kinetic waterfalls. Not only are they beautiful to look at, they double as a toy for paper crafters! Once you learn how to make one, you’ll want to use them all the time. I know I do!
Tea Party in a Box
The back side of this tag houses a nice, deep box pocket. Dress it up with some vintage lace, posies and buttons. Then fill it up with all kinds of lovely treats.
Here’s a sneak peek at the goodies tucked inside this Tea Party in a Box.

I hope you’ll grab a cuppa and a snack and join me for a tour of the paper collection and walk through of this project. This is followed by a tutorial that will show you how to create the tag base, folio, and box pocket. I’ll also show you how to create a fun little “one sheet wonder” folio insert for the box pocket.
I hope you’ll have as much fun with this design as I did. Of course, you can use any paper collection that you have in your stash.
You can find a linked supply list below this post.
Thanks for stopping by!
