Hello, Petaloo fans!  Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.  The crisp clear air, the crunch of falling leaves underfoot, gorgeous fall asters, crystal clear blue skies and cooler temps are such a welcome relief after the long, hot summer.  I’m always inspired to decorate for fall, how about you?  Autumn decor and vintage style seem to go hand in hand, Especially when you toss in some upcycled product packaging and hand dyed flowers.  This Thankful Fall Wall Hanging portrays all the things I love about fall.

(Jack-o-Lantern, Peach Delight, Olive Vine, Bronze). The natural ivory color gives you a good vintage base to being with.  Just add inks or mists and you can customize your flowers to match your papers.

I love all your banners and hanging decor, Kathy, and this one is now my new favorite! It’s perfect with the beautiful flowers and all the embellies, especially the acorns! I love acorns! Autumn is in the air!

You know I am a fan of your wall hangin’s and banners! This one is not exception to the rule. It is lovely Kathy and I can feel the “fall” in the air with this one. 🙂

Gorgeous colours again Kathy, so rich and warm looking. I like your idea of the burlap string around the image, it really does frame it and draws the eye in. X

Once again I am in awe of your ingenious talent! I am especially amazed at how you repurposed the cardboard backing into something so beautiful. You inspire me, Kathy, to take a second look at what I think is trash and see if it can be repurposed into my art. Thank you.

Hi Kathy, I can see this creation hanging on the front door, especially since it is glass in front of the door to the house. a storm door or screen depending on season. I think this is cute. and speaks of fall. very different and eye catching…..hugs.
